I really enjoyed this spot! Very in the deep woods country, and you wouldn’t expect this place to be here. It’s small, and not a huge place, and open limited hours each week, but the quality of food is quite fantastic, and the flavors and style of food is delicious and made with lots of care and passion.
Tasty chicken, pot roast, and more meats with tasty, well known vegetables to go with it.
Not a huge selection like top chain restaurants, but the food is specialized to taste, and you can tell it’s meant to be a place of connection with family and friends enjoying quality time.
The staff were friendly, came and asked if you needed anything, and didn’t seem shy or hesitant to cone and get anything you need and were alert to whatever you requested.
The young men and women also all work together and make the place progress.
I highly recommend this place. If you go, a new friend I met, Mr. Stenske, is a joy to talk to. A hard worker that wears glasses, and part of the atmosphere at that place. I hope yo pay more visits here.

It’s about an hour and half round trip for us but worth it! Plus, can’t beat for the $9.95 lunch buffet & $14.95 for dinner.
If you want simple and delicious food in a mom-and-pop place, highly recommended when you’re around in this area.

I didn’t want to write a review because I want to keep it a hidden gem but….From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm and friendly service. The real standout for me was the salad bar—everything was incredibly fresh, crisp, and full of vibrant color. You can tell they take great pride in using quality ingredients.
The prime rib was perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the salmon was just as impressive—flaky, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Even the kids’ chicken nuggets were surprisingly delicious, with a crispy outside and juicy center that rivaled anything on the adult menu. It’s rare to find a buffet that nails it across the board, but The Ridge Buffet delivers on every front.

Went for lunch. They had a small salad bar and about 6 options to choose from to eat as entrees and sides..disappointed and paid 34 dollars just for two people! Youch. Golden corral is better. We should have driven there. I mean, hell, it isn’t that hard to put boxed mashed potatoes out. I can cook better. Would not recommend.

Came here yesterday for lunch (pot roast, meatloaf and fried chicken were the specials), and everything was fantastic! We arrived 15 minutes before close and the wait staff never once made us feel rushed or like we were in their way. Food was piping hot, smelled and tasted divine. The meatloaf and pot roast melted in your mouth. Classic country music was quite fitting as well. Absolutely worth the drive for us (40 minutes each way). Can’t wait to go back!!

Best, chicken around and the roast beef was really good. I’m not a mac and cheese person but I thought it was pretty darn good. I love green beans but I didn’t care for these at all. They had sugar in them. They ran out of chicken and dumplings and mashed potatoes and replaced it with okra which I absolutely hate. So I was stuck with eating chicken and roast beef and a little mac and cheese.
Next time I know to get there when they open or shortly after. Maybe then I’ll have better options when I return?.
