Their food is really awesome. I had the Chicken Monterey which is a Sauteed Chicken Breast with melted jack cheese
My partner had the grilled chicken salad, and he described as very tasty. My chicken Breast was perfectly grilled and the atmosphere felt cozy and very romantic. One of my most favorite places to eat in San Antonio. From the old location to this new great better location, the food is consistently good. They have the best fries. I recommend the burgers A+ i also recommend the chalupas, fried mushrooms, and Ribeye sandwich. The service is top notch. They get you ordered and a server gets you everything you need ASAP. I’ve never encountered an issue with their service.

The person I spoke with recommended the crispy pork chop. I was a little hesitant to go with that, but glad that I did, it was delicious! When it came time for dessert I did not hesitate to go with their recommendation, coconut cheesecake, which was also amazing! As far as the service goes, I don’t think I’ve ever had someone come around so frequently to ask if I needed a refill on my water. Not sure how they manage to deliver such high quality food and service. I was very impressed. Next time I’m in San Antonio, I’ll definitely be back.

My wife, Emma, and I are long-time fans of The Ridge at the Hill, so when it came time to choose a spot for our wedding rehearsal dinner, it was the easiest decision we made during the entire planning process! We are regular visitors, but hosting a large private event here showed us just how exceptional this establishment really is.
From the very beginning, working with the team at The Ridge was seamless and stress-free. They were incredibly accommodating, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect for our special evening. The service during the dinner itself was flawless. They were attentive, professional, and friendly.
And of course, the food was spectacular. Every single item served, from the appetizers to the main courses, was delicious and perfectly executed. Our guests who had not been were definitely planning a return trip!
The Ridge at the Hill holds a very special place for us as our favorite local spot, and now, it will always be where we celebrated the start of our marriage. We highly, highly recommend The Ridge not just for a wonderful casual dinner, but especially for hosting private events. They absolutely knocked it out of the park!

My wife, son and I enjoyed fabulous Roasted Lamb sandwich served warm with warm peach & mango chutney & creamy goat cheese on a hoagie that were definitely 5 stars. My wife had sweet potato fries that also were five stars, but the salad my son had that was soggy and wilted and my cole slaw with coarse, with wide strands of cabbage that required a great deal of chewing, and a dressing that tasted just of vinegar alone without seasoning and no touch of sweetness to balance the vinegar sourness, which brings my 5 stars down to 4.
The atmosphere was great, the staff, affable and gracious, and the handicap accessiblity, was excellent.
They offered bread pudding and a chocolate fudge brownie for dessert that were not listed on the menu. We were full from the ample servings of the Roasted Lamb sandwichs, so we, unfortunately, had to forgo the desserts. We will definitely be back, with some adjustments on what we sellect from the menu.

We absolutely love The Ridge at the Hill! Even on a busy Friday night, our wait was less than 10 minutes, which was impressive given the line out the door. Also, where can you eat on a Friday night with a waiting of less than 10 min?!?!Totally worth it—we knew the food would be amazing, and it did not disappoint.
Evan welcomed us and we ordered the cheesy burger, salmon salad, chicken sandwich, Parmesan truffle fries, and the garden bean burger. Every item was flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The salmon salad was shareable and nicely presented! The chicken sandwich also a favorite but that cheesy burger was huge and delicious! Amanda served up homemade sangria which was fruity and refreshing. She suggested the Sam Adams Oktoberfest, which is now one of my favorites!

Can I just say this is one of the best things I have ever eaten. I was born into a family line of French chefs and I know good food. It is hard to please me when I go out to eat. Typically I leave disappointed feeling like I’ve wasted my money. The Chef here knows exactly what he’s doing. This is definitely a cute hidden gym of a restaurant. Highly recommend 10 out of 10!

It’s definitely going to be our new spot for sure! It’s walking distance from where we live so it’s a perfect spot to hang out. They also have a bar if you drink! The service was great, food was SO GOOD, and they are dog friendly! Everyone genuinely was on the same page with their hospitality and I’m glad we tried it out.

The Ridge at The Hill instantly became one of my new favorite spots! I tried the catfish Po’Boy and it was absolutely incredible, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The brisket burger was just as amazing, juicy and rich with that true Texas taste. And the sides!!! The fries and onion rings were crisped to perfection, seriously some of the best I’ve had. Overall, this place blew me away. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
