Cool restaurant design.
Service and atmosphere:
The atmosphere was good thanks to funky and colourful interior and modern Chinese inspired decorations. The menu was displayed on digital screens which looked very interesting.
Service was 50/50. Some staff were super friendly and helpful and some were just okay.
Food and drinks:
Good selection in both areas.
Food wasn’t my favourite. It tasted okay flavour wise but it was too oily for my liking. My partner enjoyed the food so definitely matters of preference. I would still recommend you give this place a go.
Pricing:
$/$$ affordable and worth trying.

Oh is a great spot and just remember each order is almost enough for two people. But be prepared if you’re sick dining in there are more barstool chairs than regular chairs. I prefer regular chairs when eating.

We’ve traditionally loved Rice Box and usually really enjoy their food, but this was our first time at this particular location and unfortunately it just wasn’t a good experience. The food was only okay, and we ended up throwing most of it away. The restaurant itself was very dirty, and the bathrooms were honestly disgusting, which made it hard to enjoy our meal.
That said, I do want to acknowledge that the customer service was great—everyone we interacted with was very nice and polite. Still, cleanliness is a big deal for us, and this experience was disappointing. Sadly, it felt like money down the drain, and we won’t be returning to this location, even though we usually enjoy Rice Box elsewhere.

The place looked cool with the lights and it was very clean (I did take out – I didn’t experience the entire place). The customer service no issue, everyone was nice . The food – I would say it’s was okay. First off everything was warm so that was great. I was disappointed in the rice (it was crunchy so maybe it was under cooked?) and vegetables not being as present in my other order. Maybe this is suppose to be quick food without maybe that like soul food experience. I’m unsure and may try here again to see if it’s better but some of the pictures others posted showed loads of veggies in the entrees. I would say if you’re hungry it will do.

Was so excited to go but realized quickly that i made a mistake. I walked into a place that seemed modern and had good decorations. I stood at the register for 7 minutes waiting to order and when the guy finally came to the register he was rude and seemed bothered to have to do his job. When we received our food it looked great but we immediately found out looks are deceiving. The house fried rice w/ beef had a hair in it and had no flavor with a small amount of beef. The pork egg rolls had absolutely no flavor and the filling had a nasty flavor. The general tso chicken was odd tasting and the chicken that was used was nasty and had a gelatinous texture. The salt and pepper stack was the best thing we ate but its flavor was decent but once again the chicken was fatty and the texture was gelatinous. The bathrooms were closed and the drink machine was obviously dirty because the flavor was nauseatingly disgusting with hints of bleach. Most of the tables were still dirty which is acceptable because it was kind of busy but still add that in too. Paid 50$ and we didn’t even eat half of any our entrees or the egg rolls we bought. Save your money and go to Panda Express. Also if I get sick from this which I think is highly likely I will be contacting someone.

My cool factor went up just being here. Great atmosphere, great food, great service.
Entrees come with egg roll and rice (steamed white or fried).
The wings were some of the best I’ve had.
The vegetables were still fresh and viable, even though cooked.
The noodles were cooked perfectly.
I’m a huge carbonated water fan and they have still and fizzy water taps. TAPS!
I wasn’t a fan of the seating situation – low and high bar stools – especially since they don’t even have hooks to hang a purse.
The murals and paintings – inside and outside – are beautiful.
We chose this location because of a better parking situation. I’m sure all RBs are just as good as the experience off I-10.

Rice box is a cool place. My fav are the chow fun noodles. They won’t skimp on the protein and they taste similar to Pad Thai- I get extra spicy. I’ve had the sweet and sour chicken – too much ginger for me. I’ve also tried the fried rice- spicy and not- both peak

I was planning to visit another branch of Rice Box, but when I heard that this location was opening today, I decided to wait and visit as soon as it opened.
The exterior of the restaurant was spacious, and the parking lot was clean and well-maintained. Inside, the interior design was incredibly unique and eye-catching.
From the moment I stepped in, the staff greeted me warmly. Among them, the manager, Dylan, stood out for being exceptionally friendly and providing a detailed explanation of the menu.
I went with one of Dylan’s recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was delicious, and the portion size was much larger than I expected, so I ended up taking some to-go.
If I had to mention one minor downside, it’s that the food was a bit on the salty side.
Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
