The service was very good from start to finish. I ordered the brisket and fries, pulled pork with mac and cheese, ribs, and baked beans. The ribs were outstanding and my favorite part of the meal. The pork was very good, though it was pulled a little more than my personal preference. The brisket was okay but could use more flavor. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back.

Didn’t know where to go for lunch and got a recommendation for this place. Got a margarita and pineapple cider … DELICIOUS ! the awesome bar tend and waitress Ms Peggy was so kind and helpful about questions with the menu. The 6 Gun Tater and The Big Jake burger were both delicious and well made. Was a great experience definitely try this out if you like bbq , good drinks and great service.

Almost missed it, even though I mapped to it. They need to paint a big pink and blue pig on the side of the building. I enjoyed a beer and the rib plate with fries. Ribs were fall off the bone amazing! Fries were alright and the pickle felt store bought and underwhelming. I was hoping they made their own BBQ sauce so a little let down when I saw the sweet baby rays bottle. Offering dine in with a couple pool tables and a nice craft beer selection or to go as well. Service was good.

The food here is good for northern Idaho.
However, for barbecue, there is definitely better out there. I recommend stopping and eating here. Just don’t get your hopes too high as to what you will receive as the portions are a little smaller than expected. The meat, however, is very good! The brisket on the sandwiches melts in your mouth, and the French fries are cooked just right with a good seasoning. The Mac and cheese is pretty good, and the barbecue sauce pretty much makes up for any of the shortcomings of the dishes.
I do recommend eating here on your way through grangeville, but don’t get yourself disappointed by expecting true southern barbecue

In the past my orders to go have been ok. Today in our Togo order we had a half rack of supposed to ribs. It was all fat chopped up and not one normal bone
All busted up and chpped and very fat bones, way to short. This was the weirdest ribs experience I’ve had and i love baby back ribs. Also in the past when I asked if they had any kids specials or meals the kid said this isn’t McDonald’s. I let that one slide, now with today’s disaster its time to post. Its not bad if you don’t know any better

When in Grangeville, look no further for a place to dine! The ribs were amazing. It’s the best meal I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time. Plus, the service was amazing! There were only two women working and they handled the bar and restaurant like two superwomen! In a restaurant/bar of that size, it wouldn’t be uncommon to have at least six staff working. The two women had a couple of tables of ten and a full bar and I didn’t see anyone waiting for service and provided excellent service to me. Kudos to you ladies!

Great Southern BBQ! We had a light lunch with perfect portion sizes. The service was fast and the waitress friendly, the food came out almost immediately and the meat was perfectly cooked. Definitely worth stopping here.

I’ve never had an issue eating here at all but last night we each got our food like we normally do and the food was cold . When we got it. It was all fat. The mac & cheese was bland just wasn’t good at all and then I got the diarrhea couple of hours after eating it I will never be eating here again! My tummy is still upset!

Pretty decent barbecue brisket but its heaven when you’re on a road trip and tired of only seeing fast food places around. The brisket was very moist, sliced at about a quarter of an inch, and melted in my mouth. I thoroughly enjoyed the barbecue sauce. Very rustic interior that’s cozy and charming with charismatic service from the “Gal”
