This place was the bomb. As soon as we walked in they called for a party of two and we were quickly taken to our table. It wasn’t packed when we got there but after we were seated it began to fill up quick. I picked the roast beef Manhattan with green beans and the Mrs tried the catfish dinner. They were both so good. We thought about dessert but decided to try that on the next visit. If you go arrive early cause it fills up quick!!

The food wasn’t the best. Our fries seemed like they had been out for a while. They cover a lot of their food with a nacho cheese that really is bland. I think they have the right idea going, but the food looks way better than what it tastes. The customer service also has areas for improvement. For the quality of the food, we thought it was very expensive. Our home cooked meals are better than the restaurant. Restrooms were not the cleanest. We did like the style of the inside of their restaurant. And the pictures of the dog Rex was cute.

This restaurant has only been open for about a year and half. The service was top notch . Was the fastest I have even been served. I definitely recommend stopping in for a bite to eat and enjoy the clean and warm atmosphere. I highly recommend eating here you won’t be disappointed.

The food seems expensive but we got our money’s worth. The room is loud from all the conversations and few softness to buffer the sound. It is a very relaxed setting with high end service. The food was PHENOMENAL! The manager gave us additional catfish fillets. We will be back.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm hello and a smile. It’s has a very southern feel and I mean that in all the best way. The owner was greeting everyone and making you feel like family.
The wait was very short. The menu isn’t all that big but the food makes up for it with a very big flavor. The portion sizes are enough that it makes for a good value.

A group of my friends were at The Rex a couple of weeks ago. A school bus full of kids had just arrived and the staff was swamped. The staff handled it wonderfully. They took care of everyone with calmness and friendliness. We never even knew they were serving about 40 kids in another room!! The food was wonderful and our servers were excellent.. Rick Barker, you have a great bunch of people working for you. Justin and Ivory and the rest of your staff are extremely capable. I’m sure we will return again and again. See you soon
