Not sure if I went on the wrong night, but this is what I was served. French onion soup with no cheese, potato skins that we’re burnt & looked like they cut 1 in half to make 2. I told the server I didn’t wanna eat or pay for the soup or potato skins & her reply was well your other sandwiches are almost done. As if I didn’t wanna pay. My reply was honey it’s ok, I have nothing against you, it’s not your fault. I’m not that guy who wants something for nothing, but I just can’t eat that. I said give me my bill & I will pay. She proceeded to grab my other 2 sandwiches I’m not sure what made her think I was going to eat them after I just returned 2 items back to the kitchen, but I had enough & just wanted to leave. Not only did I pay my bill with the other 2 sandwiches added to it but also made it a point to leave a 20% tip & also made it a point to throw her an extra $20 on the side so she can realize it’s not about the money, it’s about having to pay for something that’s not good. I hate spending money & leaving dissatisfied. She could’ve asked if I still wanted the sandwiches that hadn’t come out instead she said they are almost done as if i have to eat them smh. Will never, ever go back!!!! I’d rather go next door to long pond pub who’s smaller but tastier.

We made a last minute decision to stop in on a Friday night to eat with a party of 5. We had to wait about 45 min. but it was our fault since we didn’t make a reservation.
The staff was very nice and welcoming. The food was really good; it took a little bit but the place was packed the entire time we were there. It was also loud due to the number of people in there; it was hard to have a conversation at the table and hear what was being said.
The fish sandwhich, two different types of quesadilla, chicken wings and chicken tender plate were all enjoyed. The food arrived hot and we had some leftovers.
The prices were reasonable.

Been going to the retreat for years now, for the most part they have good food but after tonight wont be getting wings there for a while. 80% of the wings had no meat and where just the outside, the sauce was good but it there was almost zero meat and they where very dry. paid $32 for these. Told my friends we should have got wingjammers but nope retreat sounded better I guess and they regrated there decision . not trying to shame here but trying to get the establishment to do better. Unacceptable
