This place definitely lives up to all of the ratings. The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the food is fantastic! Our server; Kristie, was extremely attentive and very friendly. This was our very first time here and we will definitely come back. She made the experience phenomenal! The icing on the cake was that the manager Corey, came out and introduced himself. He personally thanked us for coming and very made us feel appreciated for coming to his establishment. Our hard earned dollar is well spent and truly appreciated in this establishment.

Overall we had a good experience. The shrimp scampi was good and had nice flavor. The shrimp n grits were average. Nothing to write home about. The jalapeño mac n cheese was fantastic. The grilled chicken was tasty. Good experience, and I would return.

After a Saturday night of trying to find a restaurant with a wait if less than 30 minutes, I left the touristy part of the Woodlands and came to the quiet part of the town to the Republic Grille. The Republic Grille is the perfect balance of casual American dining and a formal ambience. It may be a bar, but everyone is dressed fairly nicely and it’s not a rowdy crowd. It’s a great place to bring your family or even have a nice dinner with coworkers. The restaurant is well lit and has clean, modern decor. The staff were extremely attentive and able to anticipate our needs- they brought us refills before we even needed to ask and checked in regularly. The food was in large portions and well made. There was lots of room for customization and options for your dish. I had a good amount of leftovers and the staff were kind enough to even bring to-go containers for the unique condiments they offered.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s been amazing each time! I just went this weekend with my boyfriend. We went during Friday night dinner and it was busy but we were able to be seated right away! Our waiter was so fast but polite. For drinks I got a margarita and my boyfriend got a Moscow mule. They were both great. For food I had fish and chips and my boyfriend had the country fried steak. The fish and chips were great, they were pretty big pieces and the fries were yummy, too! My boyfriend ate all his steak and veggies. Love this place and definitely recommend for any occasion!

For my husband’s birthday, we decided to do a ‘staycation’ in The Woodlands. I made reservations for dinner at the Republic Grille…we were thrilled having Janell as our server. Our son & DIL surprised us with a bottle of our favorite wine, Silver Oak. Our meal was delicious – I had their Crab Cakes & my husband had the Mussels for our appetizers &&& I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and he ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken…both entrees were perfect! For dessert they surprised us with Tres Leches. Janell was wonderful & helped make our evening perfect!

I took the residents from Alders Magnolia for lunch here yesterday. We all loved our entrees! I had the shrimp and grits and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was very friendly with us. We did not once have to flag our server down. We will definitely keep this as a regular stop for our community!

Food had such good flavor, hot, and large portions. Such a good value for your money. The service from the wait staff was fantastic as well. Our drinks didn’t get but half empty before they were filled right back up. The wait staff were fawning over our kids and were genuinely nice. I’d recommend this place to anyone. Be prepared to wait for a table but the food once seated comes out quick. Make sure to order one of their yummy deserts. Parking lot is very tight.

We had a great time eating here again. The place has a solid vibe and the food is always on point. But what really stood out this time was our waiter, Chris. The guy knows his stuff and was super attentive. Plus, he’s got this cool accent from the Boston area that we even chatted about. All in all, Chris made a good night great.
