Seasonal, local, very low-key bar owned by nice guy from Staten Island named Deno. Great place to finish the ski day. Food was good, too. Interestingly hosts hip-hop parties; I bet they are fun. IMO you can’t ski Sugarbush without paying a visit. It is a bit hard to find. Will return!

Pretty dope spot. We didn’t dine in, but I heard many very highly regarded reviews from a few guests we met in our hotel and they said the guy who owns the shop. He’s an awesome cook. If you in the area, you have to try his food. Wish we did.

3/10/23 Enjoyed a beer with a veggie burger and fries. Great beer options. Casual bar atmosphere.
Ordered takeout from The Reks for the first time. We were not disappointed. The Baked Ziti was unbelievable. Great flavor and very cheesy. The portion is very large.

Best burger, sandwiches, home style entrees, drinks and service. Family run spot, welcoming and well done.

Great cheeseburger and fries. Everyone was very friendly. The lights were a bit low, but I could still see my menu and everyone at my table so it wasn’t a problem.

Watched the Eagles pound the Redskins at this bar, and loved everything about it. Food was excellent – from the dumplings to the nachos. Kids loved the fries. Beer selection was great. Perfect place to watch a game or hang after a day of skiing. We will definitely be back.

Imagine what makes the best ski apres experience. Solid quality food? Check. Decent craft beer selection? Check. Reasonable prices? CHECK! comfortable and unpretentious ambiance? Check. Clean? Check. Friendly staff? Check.
The reks blows it out of the water! They just did a bunch of work to the place and have a new head chef. Everything on the menu is under $15. Most dishes are around $11 and well portioned. The food is definitely creative and really high quality with homemade jams, sauces and other creations. The salads are also a notch above and something you would expect to be double the price. The menu is one page and so you don’t have to spend an eternity figuring out what it is that you want. You also get the sense they are focusing on fewer items and making them really good.
I had an chicken parmesan sandwich with homemade sauce which was perfect. Wife had the “notorious P.I.G.” which is a pork sandwich with a fried egg and special homemade bacon jam. Unreal. Nachos we’re also really great as well as homemade artichoke dip. Did I mention the have Lawson’s Finest?
When you walk in you instantly feel like this is exactly what I want after a day on the he hill skiing or biking or hiking. Vaulted ceilings big windows big fireplace, big bar, tables with benches. Relaxing for sure. Can’t wait to go back!
