Great laid back place to grab some brews and eats. We especially liked the peachy hot sauce in the wings.

Finally made it here after knowing about it for years. Big sports bar, was raucous for the Europa League final. Pretty solid tap list with 24 options. Went for the Pliny as even in California you don’t see it on draft often. $9.50 for a full pint ain’t bad. Had the fish & chips special and some wings, which were absolutely stellar. Lots of sauces to choose from. Open kitchen across from the bar. Lots of seating inside and outside. Great vibes, classic feel for an older place in Encinitas that clearly has some history and plenty of regulars.

This local hang out has everything (and more) going for it – 24 craft beers on tap (including Pliny The Elder), incredible quality food options from their kitchen (seriously, you can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches, sausages, or appetizers because they’re all so good. No joke!), plenty of indoor & outdoor seating w/ big TVs to watch sports, and, best of all, super friendly bartenders and staff. Check out their weekly specials like $1 wing Wednesdays, too.

My first visit here, love the place. Very lively and friendly crowd. Huge rotating beer selection. A stellar Philly Cheesesteak. I will be back. Walking distance from hotels.

Cute dive diner. Reviews said to order the Philly cheesesteak and that’s exactly what we did and it was delicious. Bread was soft and the meat was tender with yummy melty cheese. Great beer list and other options too.

Great spot!
We stopped for a quick authentic American bite (I’m Spanish) the wings and tater tots hit the spot.

In order to avoid confusion on the orders each customer is given a character name which I thought was really fun!

I’ll be back 🙂

Beer variety is pretty good – 24 taps.
Place vibe was great – 5 different TVs showing NFL and NHL.
The Beacons & Blue burger was questionable the best burger of the year.
Highly recommend.

As advertised beer and kitchen.

Beers were diverse and well valued.

Their kitchen speciallizes in sausages, but has other stuff too.

Being able to have a Belgium Tripel and saurkraut’ed Bratwurst simultaneously in heart of Encinitas was a treat.

I missed the bulk of it, but seems to have a good trivia night too (not sure of day).

Place could use a good deep cleaning as I won’t go into too many details. Staff attention drifts away as night progresses and beers consumed.

But otherwise, a fun and solid experience. I’ll be back.
