From the time we walked through the door, we knew we weren’t just here for a meal, but an experience. We booked the Chef’s Counter, which is a night full of tastings. The atmosphere was perfect! It was an intimate setup with eight seats around a beautifully laid out counter overlooking the staff preparing meals in the kitchen. Not one dish disappointed from the first bite to the end. The servers were tentative, and Chef Chad also came out to explain many of the dishes to us. There were many unique experiences, too. From wearing a blindfold to putting on headphones to listen to the ocean with different dishes, it was like nothing I have ever experienced.
I have been to many specialty dinners in the area, but nothing compared to this one. The attention to detail was flawless. I’ll be dreaming of the duck cannelloni until my next visit.

Each bite was better than the last. Starting with the bright staff and the cozy ambiance, the atmosphere is very comfortable. The food is a different combination of flavor with each dish and bite making it fun to explore and share bites of different dishes. The focus is on quality plates of delicious food and a quality experience. Will definitely come back.

Friends and I dined at the Refinery last night and we had the greatest experience! The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied throughout our meal. Special shout out to the bartenders (we sat at the bar), Eddie and Keith. They were super knowledgeable on the menu and were happy to make recommendations. The drinks were made perfectly (pictured are the blood orange and pomegranate martinis) and the food was delicious. (Pictured cast iron chicken, pierogis, and the pumpkin agnolotti — my personal fav).

This was our second dining experience at The Refinery and it certainly did not disappoint! We were sat immediately upon arrival. Our server, Hailey, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. She quickly offered detailed descriptions of the dishes we were considering and offered suggestions on cocktail and wine pairings that were well received. The restaurant was bustling but the service was swift and spot on. My husband chose the Chicken Parmigiana, I the Pinwheel Lasagna, and our friends the Mezze Penne and Rabbit Pappardelle and Italian Chop Chop Salad. For starters we shared the Pepperoni Venetian Pizzette, Foccacia and Maine Scallop Carpaccio. We were also treated to the Crispy Fried Long Stem Artichokes courtesy of the Chef. Every dish was exceptional!! Liz stopped by our table to check in, she’s always so friendly and kind. Excellent service, warm atmosphere and unique, delicious meals that were all perfectly prepared. We are very much looking forward to our next visit to The Refinery and planning on trying the tasting option next!

This was an amazing experience. I took my fiance out for his birthday and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff simply amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. My fiance had the New York strip. I had the Veal Osso Buco ravioli. Definitely looking forward to returning soon!

My boyfriend and I literally had the best dinner we’ve had in a while, thanks to our server Hailey! She was so quick, she was so knowledgeable about the menu and specials. We had such a great experience because of her. The atmosphere is always amazing and the food and drinks were out of this world! I had the braised short rib which was so soft and flavorful along with the fig cocktail that was on special and my boyfriend got the pinwheel lasagna. John behind the bar is also amazing and made the most perfect drinks for us including a delicious pumpkin martini for me. Thank you refinery for a wonderful time, you have a great server and wonderful bartenders that just made the experience 10 times better. Love you

We recently dined at The Refinery with my wife and daughter on a Saturday night, and it lived up to the hype. We had a later reservation at 9:00 p.m., which wasn’t easy to get—this place is very popular for good reason. Being open for only about a year or so, it has already built a strong reputation for excellent food and a great dining experience.
We started with a couple of drinks, and one thing that immediately stood out was the complimentary appetizer they bring to the table. It included beans, peppers, mozzarella cheese, and olives, and it was simple but very well done and full of flavor. We also ordered the focaccia appetizer, which they are well known for, and it absolutely lived up to expectations—fresh, warm, and delicious.
For dinner, we ordered a margarita pizza, which was excellent, and I split a pasta dish featuring pork cheek, while my wife had the pumpkin-stuffed pasta. Both pasta dishes were outstanding, well-prepared, and perfectly portioned. Every bite showed the quality and care put into the food.
The waitstaff was excellent—attentive, efficient, and respectful of our time. Drinks were served promptly, dinner came out quickly, and we were in and out within about 50 minutes, which was impressive for a busy Saturday night. The only thing we took home was a slice of pizza. Highly recommended.

If I could give this place 20 stars, I would! Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Reservations are a must. The short rib was tender and full of flavor. The octopus appetizer was our favorite. Made reservations to return while we were there.

I’m a little late posting this review. I found The Refinery on a Facebook group I belong to and was very intrigued by what I saw. I made our reservation a couple months in advance as I was told they book up solid. Let’s just say I’m glad we did. This place was packed. At that time I realized The Refinery has gotta be good. Let me tell you the experience from the hostess, the bartender and our server Jessica was top notch. We drove an hour and fifteen minutes for our anniversary dinner and I would do it over and over again.
We had to wait a few minutes for our table. No big deal to us since they were very busy. For drinks we had the smoked old fashion and the uptown orchard. Both drinks were excellent. Now let’s get to the food. My wife had the pinwheel lasagna. I had the lobster pyramids and had to have the crispy Calabrian potatoes. For appetizers we had nonna’s meatballs, grilled Spanish octopus and Kristen’s fresh focaccia. That whipped ricotta and honey…..Oh my yeah what a combo. Dessert we had the peach cobbler tart and cinnamon toast crunch gelato.
Chef Kristen and Chef Chad thank you for very much for an EXCELLENT dining experience from the time we walked in the door until we left!!! The staff you have is on point and is awesome as well. We hope you guys are around for a very long time.

My boyfriend and I came to The Refinery for dinner tonight to celebrate my 24th birthday! We had the best time and all of the staff was so kind!! Kiki was an absolutely amazing server and truly made our whole dining experience!
We had the fresh Focaccia and Pepperoni pizza as starters and we had the Trofie Pasta and Chicken Parmigiana as our entrees, everything was so delicious! We had the Budino for dessert and it was incredible. We will DEFINITELY be back for every special occasion
