We stopped at Reel Inn on a whim because the weather was too beautiful not to sit outside, and it ended up being our favorite meal of the trip! Tucked bayside in the Harbour Island Association complex, the vibe was lowkey with a gorgeous view. Our server Natalie was super friendly, and everything we ordered was excellent, the mozzarella sticks were classic but perfectly cooked, the Assawoman combo (scallops, shrimp, and tuna bites) was outstanding, the chicken sandwich had amazing sauce, the fries were hot, the coleslaw was delicious, and the drinks were great. Truly a wonderful night, and we’d absolutely go back.

Found this place by accident and was super glad that I found this gem! Dined alone and enjoyed the quite on the outside patio! I did get there as the kitchen was about to close, But they were very accommodating to allow me to order as I already knew what I wanted from looking at the menu from the parking lot. I ordered the Crab Deviled eggs, Reel crab dip and bang bang shrimp! Everything was amazing! Highly recommend! Service was fast and friendly!

We had an amazing time when we ate here earlier this week. Beautiful view, friendly staff, amazing food. Easily one of, if not the best cheesesteaks I have ever had. This will absolutely be on our list of places for future vacations!

The Reel Inn is such a cool place located in the Harbour Inn community. The food and service is always good! They have everything from seafood, steak and a fresh catch of the day to sandwiches and various baskets. The fries are always hot and salted perfectly and the cream of crab soup is amazing! The desserts never disappoint, the key lime pie is our favorite. We usually come here a few times over the Summer and are already looking forward to our next visit!

If you have a shellfish allergy they will not accommodate, even though they offer non shellfish options. Be aware. It’s unfortunate that someone is penalized for wanting to enjoy the White Marlin tournament but cannot enough a meal without risk of an allergic reaction.
Do better Reel Inn, do better, it’s not that hard to have a separate grill and station for folks with allergies.
Also hostess was rude, we get it you’re busy , no excuse for rudeness.

We had an outstanding experience at The Reel Inn! We’ve been coming here for years, but this year the food has been absolutely outstanding! Such a difference! We’ve been coming back more often, because the service is outstanding, the food is great and the atmosphere is awesome! I’ve been getting the crabcake with shrimp and it is now my go to. The potatoes are done perfectly and seasoned just right. The squash and zucchini medley is perfect as well! The breadstick was so soft and done just right. Will definitely be back as this is one of our favorite restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland. This place is getting busier and busier so I would definitely call ahead for seating.

For being on harbor. We were expecting fresh product not processed canned and jarred food. Price was terrible high and it is a difficult walk for someone with any immobilities from parking lot. Servers were great and atmosphere could definitely have huge potential. Just a shame for food not being same day

Despite being located in Ocean City, Maryland — home to the largest white marlin fishing tournament — The Reel Inn disappoints when it comes to accommodating seafood allergies. You’d expect a seafood-centric restaurant to be more aware and flexible, but unfortunately, that was not the case. If you or someone in your party has seafood allergies, this may not be the best dining option.
