Reel Bar is a must-visit destination! Perched right on the ocean, it offers breathtaking views, vibrant live music, and a delightful atmosphere. Yummy craft cocktails and some of the best chicken tenders I’ve had in town! Left the spot feeling very relaxed

Even though it’s a gated community, you can enter and get your parking ticket validated at the Reel Bar. It’s a small bar with a good location. Corey was our bartender and well liked by the locals. We both opted for the Reel Burger and fries. It was delicious and the drinks packed a punch! (Long Island Iced Tea is perfect)

My recommendation is to go to the local liquor store and make your own drinks…. This place was crazy outrageous on the price of drinks. We didn’t get any food, but drinks were in short plastic cups and were at least $20/each. Extremely overpriced for what you get….. The drinks were very average. Had to go get my own espresso from the coffee machine in the lobby for an espresso martini.

My husband and I got 4 drinks and we forgot to close our tab before going up to the room. Found out after we checked out our drink tab was $116 after they added their own gratuity!
CRAZY!!

The best part was the fire pits outside. That’s about it!

Great views at sunset made for a nice evening as did the live music.
Order at bar and food served to your table.
Food was just ok. Bar grub selections and we chose the Brussels sprouts as an app which were tasty. For the meal we ordered a burger and a club sandwich each with fries. The burger was standard but good, the club was texture-less Texas toast with plasticized lunch meat. Left feeling dissatisfied.

This is one of the cutest little places in Mount Pleasant! Its located right on the Charleston Harbor at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina. The bar tenders are absolutely awesome and try to take care of you like you were at home! If you’re looking for one of the best sunset cocktail spots in Charleston this is your place!

Drinks are good, people you will meet are priceless! Bartenders are friendly and helpful. You order drinks and food at the bar, your drinks are made immediately and then you get a table number in a holder to place on your table for food delivery. Food was not spectacular but after the 5 1/2 hour drive to get to our hotel it was nice to just get drinks and food and avoid getting back on the road till the next day. I had the mahi tacos which were okay and came with chips and salsa which were good. As long as you realize you are getting pool side bar food and know that coming through the door then you will be happy with the food. If you want a quality meal then you will want to go elsewhere.

The place is in a private resort area. They definitely had resort prices.

The atmosphere is fun and inviting. They have the huge Adirondack chair for photo opportunities. There was a fire pit. A couple of outdoor bars on the sandy beach style are.

This seems to be a fun environment. There is a parking fee to get out, though. So plan to stay long enough to make it worth the parking fee.

We’ve been coming to the resort for 4th of July for years, but I can say that JD and the crew at the Reel Bar are what make our stay magical. The atmosphere is very laid back and South Carolina casual. You don’t feel out of place with your swimsuit and cover up or if you’re dressed to go out and stopped by for a drink.
The real treasure of this place is that the whole team makes you feel special. They remember your name, your drink order and talk to you like an old friend. Year after year you walk in and just know it’ll feel like home.
The food is great and the drinks are excellent! They’ll even go off menu and craft a cocktail just for you. How special is that?
Definitely recommend you stop by and enjoy the feel of a neighborhood bar while you’re on vacation. Stay inside or enjoy the patio overlooking the harbor!

The food was mediocre and incredibly overpriced, and the drinks are similarly overpriced and average. Simple burger, mani tacos, and a small rum punch were $50. Nice views though!

Decent food, wouldnt go back for food. Nice sand area, but LOTS of trash and cigarette butts. Beautiful views. Good spot for cocktails but not for kids/dinner.
