We have dined here on multiple occasions and have always found the food, service, and atmosphere to be delightful. The food is always created with the freshest ingredients and cooked perfectly. We highly recommend the Braised Lamb Shank, the Petrale Sole, the Fennel Braised Pork Shoulder, the Little Gem Salad and the Smoked Rainbow Trout Dip. Save room for dessert.

I happened to be Sebastopol this weekend and tried this brand-new restaurant and OH MY GOD I am so glad I did.
The restaurant serves a seasonal menu with unique natural wines. Each dish we ordered was consistently delicious and seemed to be crafted carefully. 10/10 would recommend. My only negative is that this restaurant isn’t in Seattle (where I am from). But I guess it means I’ll have to come back!
I highly recommend the dark chocolate crémeux. It was life changing!

The restaurant is very cozy and the service is very decent. The options for dinner are quite limited. We ordered the duck liver mousse to share and I had the black cod. Since some of us were still a bit hungry, we also had the fried potatoes. All of the dishes are quite delicious. The corn that came with the fish was very sweet and tasty. The bread was grilled perfectly and we even ordered more bread to pair with the mousse. My friends also love the lamb they ordered.

The Redwood is our weekly go-to! The wine list is amazing. They always have fun, local purveyors and also some from far flung places that I would never come across anywhere else. The food is delicious – the rotating crudo is a must. The fried chickpeas and fried potatoes are delicious. What I love is how they really use the seasons as a guide and update the food menu to reflect the best of what’s available locally. A true gem of a spot!

Amazing! I have to admit I’m biased because I have been following the chefs at this restaurant for years, so I already knew I would love it, but oh my gosh, it was incredible! The wine selection is unique and meticulously curated. Every glass we tried perfectly hit the spot. And let’s not forget about the food!!! The citrus salad was a highlight but everything I put in my mouth was heavenly. Don’t skip dessert, the chocolate cremeux is perfection!

The Redwood is absolutely incredible. Not only is the food top notch (hello, Michelin, where are you already?) and carefully curated by an award-winning chef, but the wine selection is diverse and impressive. Staff are warm and friendly and eager to recommend pairings, and every single menu item is stellar (I’ve tried them all!!!!). This place stands out for its intimate and unassuming vibe, wonderfully intentional in their offerings and truly sincere in every interaction. I drive from Oakland to eat here often, absolutely would recommend everyone to come visit more than once.

This time 3 of us shared the meze plate with hummus, baba ghanoush and labneh, as well as a bing cherry, fennel, and ricotta tartine. Both were fresh and fantastic.
It ended up being plenty of food for us too so that for a couple drinks and food for 3 spent $60.

This is a Sebastopol gem…..food, service, friendliness, connection to our community. I often order extra Liberty Duck Liver Mouse for entertaining and, especially, for the holidays. Already placed a “verbal” order to make sure I would have enough to travel with across country. Geneva and Ryan, and all the staff, are incredibly welcoming – will stop and say hello, even with a full house. Love the lamb shank dinner. Also, introduced my vegetarian friend to The Redwood. She was thrilled and would be back soon to enjoy more vegetarian delights.
