This had the best breakfast we have had since closing our own restaurant. The food was really really good. Featuring farming and hunting decor, the rough board walls look solid and warm. There are rooms off the main dining area for private parties. The outside looks like an large barn, the restrooms are clean, with large mirrors and handicap accessible features. We were impressed and will be back.

Enjoyed our meal at The Red Wagon. It was our first visit. I had driven by on the Interstate for years and was glad to finally stop and try it. For my meal I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Others at the table had the steak sandwich (which could easily be split among two people). The dessert was the best part of the meal – apple pie with ice cream. Our server Hannah was great. Very attentive.

We stopped here for a very late lunch, and it was fantastic! Staff was amazing, and the food was on point!
One had a hamburger without the bun, and steamed broccoli. My husband and I had chicken lives, me with broccoli and green beans and my hubby with the mashed potatoes. It was all delicious! We will definitely go back! Check out more pics on my Facebook page and on @Tingle Travel Agency.

We only stopped in for a potty break, but was curious about this place and decided to have a piece of pie w/ice cream before traveling onward. So we didn’t have any actual food, however the service & atmosphere was wonderful, and Apple pie was best I had in forever. Will definitely want to stop back by in future when we get back to this area and try the food. I have no doubt it will be delicious.

Wow! 1st time and Wow! Had to have the Oyster dinner and it was fantastic – perfectly fried, and delicious. Dinner salad was perfect. Tried the fried catfish and Gator bites – all perfectly excellent. And the pies and the bread pudding were heavenly.
AND, service could not have been better. Atmosphere AAA+++ also.
All in all, amazing from start to finish.

When we showed up they were able to seat our party of 6 within 5 minutes. Ordering was pretty slow. The food was so good! We always ask for recommendations when we haven’t been to a new place and the waitress recommended our dishes. They had fried alligator tail and my daughter loved it!

Very quiet quaint restaurant. Was seated quickly and server was nice and attentive. Had Cajun Alfredo and a salad which were both wonderful. Daughter had chicken fingers, French fries and Mac n’ cheese. She enjoyed the fries but the Mac n cheese and chicken fingers she said were bland. Otherwise, great food, service and atmosphere.Tip: Take cash. Everything on the menu costs more if you use a card.

The wife and I drive through Poseyville 3-4 times a year on the way to visit family. We always stop for breakfast at the Red Wagon. Good food and coffee at a more-than-fair price are the main attractions! I especially like the omlets! The only drawback — and not a serious one — is that there is only one server on, and when things are busy, service slows down. Closed Mondays, so plan accordingly. Bon apetit!
