Excellent service and delicious reasonably priced food. This place was packed midday on a Tuesday and quite loud and busy– it’s popular for a reason! Loved stopping here for lunch and will recommend it to anyone passing through town to see the mansions.

After a long cliff walk we decided to go there for late lunch. Situated by the corner, a prime spot on the Thames St, location is very appealing and surely makes it’s a first stop for lot of people. Finding street parking is a bit of an issue or be ready to pay $20 for lots. It’s three storied with huge seating capacity. We ordered like 8-9 dishes but most of them were ok-ish. Was a little disappointed by the pasta, mahi sandwich and crab sandwich. Very run of the mill standard preparation and little flavor dishes. The taziki pasta seemed to have more olives than the penne – basically and overdo of olives. The crab cake was dry and had to put in a lot of sauce to make the bun and cake moist. Was a bit too busy place, and music and noise were too overwhelming. Overall, won’t recommend it. Rather visit Hammetts Wharf and enjoy some docks views and open seating arrangement and soak in the fresh air. Cheers!

Tried their famous Lobster nachos. Absolute bomb ! As a solo traveler, it was just me and hence I couldn’t finish it. I had just the nachos as my entree. The portions are large(the price as well-$32) but I’m glad I tried it. The workers are kind and lovely. Lovely ambience. Just get a window seat and do some people watching at the Thames street.

Went here last year in July, it was very good. Different martini drinks, different tropical dishes. Now in 2023, changed their menu cut a lot out. Their menu wasn’t clear with ordering dishes. I thought it was their shark appetizer good thing I asked because it was swordfish bites, swordfish doesn’t end up well with me. Calamari had grease floating in the bottom, my shrimp wasn’t explained how it was in menu. Very spicy, rice was sticky. When we got there, walked up to the podium nobody around us, told us to go upstairs to be seated. Got upstairs, they sat 3 tables infront of us while we are standing in front of their podium first meanwhile these people walked up after us. The server kept on forgetting about us, took almost 2.5 hours just for dinner and missed the whole sunset got outside when it’s dark out, couldn’t get outside because we were waiting for the check then our card. This year it went downhill drastically and we won’t be returning. Went to Benjamin’s the next day and it was day and night difference. I won’t be returning.

We ate here twice, because our first experience was so great. The lobster nachos brought us back for a second dinner. The adult beverage choices are fresh and delicious, and we sampled a variety of entrees and none of them disappointed. Then there was the Ice Cream Nachos as the grand finale. The menu is so extensive, we had trouble narrowing down our orders. Our servers, Hannah and Ryan, were knowledgeable and all smiles. Don’t miss this gem.

We absolutely love this place. The food was very good (a little salty for my taste, but still very good). The atmosphere was fantastic, and what made the night was our waiter, Jake. He was funny, attentive, and just an extremely nice person. Sometimes, great service trumps all. I definitely recommend the Red Parrot for a great night and dinner.

Had the Bacon Egg and Cheeseburger, it was cooked perfectly. She had the Jerk Chicken Quesadilla, thought it was a bit in the dry side. Excellent service from the hostess to our waiter. Had a beer and she had a Pina Colada which she said it was very good. Took one star off because it was uncomfortably hot inside even with all the windows open. Would definitely recommend and would also visit again.

Food is excellent, great service and convenient location. The surf and turf burger with lobster scampi on top is phenomenal. Lobster roll was one to remember. Good sized portions so bring your appetite.

I’ve seen the ratings on google and chose to have dinner at this place. So many concerns with this place. First of all there is no soap in the restroom, waitress totally forgot our drinks order and made us wait more than 40 mins just to serve us the drinks, food got served super late as well ( according to the waitress, the chef burnt the food and had to redo everything again), the food isn’t tasty at all except for oysters. Drinks are overpriced and barely had alcohol in it. Overall it was a bad experience.
