The Red Onion is a truly unique experience, and one I always come back to when in VT! The owner and workers are always friendly and take their time with each and every customer to ensure the best service, and the food is amazing! My favorites are the Red Onion sandwich on honey oat bread and their snickerdoodles.

Yum. Got two delicious cookies and when I asked for a recommendation on a sandwich I was told to get the Signature Red Onion. Get it! Perfect combo of crunchy apple, amazing turkey, and of course fresh baked bread.

The Red Onion Sandwich is amazing. The flavors perfectly blend together and I love the crunch of the apple. Really great sandwich. Some of the reviews say that the staff are rude but that wasn’t my experience. It’s clear that they are busy. Honestly they can be rude to me all they want — as long as their sandwiches stay 100% – who cares!

$32.50 for 2 turkey bacon sandwiches extra bacon on one. And this is what you get!!!! I didn’t ask for extra mayo!!!! I called for a refund or remake as these where not edible and get hung up on. What great customer service. None of the employees have manners, it’s like a problem to take your order or be polite. And the owner is no better I don’t see how she has made it to be honest. I don’t recommend!!!!

I have had nothing but delicious food here. I usually get a breakfast burrito and miss the lunch time crush. That being said, we all know the state of service these days. Hard to get and keep good workers, which means things don’t happen in a snap like they once did. This is a two man operation, doing their best to provide good food in this area. Don’t expect to call in the midst of the lunch rush and get immediate service. Goes without saying. Plan ahead. Be considerate.

Enjoyed their little shop. Would steer away from any burrito from here though because they do a much better bakery option.

It is by no means fast food BUT the signature Red Onion sandwich is my favorite Turkey sandwich in the country. I always make a stop when in town. New location is out by Fiddlehead away from Burlington downtown.

The food.. is wonderful. But that’s when I can actually get it… almost daily around the lunch hour you’ll find the phone “busy” because they take the phone off the hook and leave it like that. Super wild business tactic in my opinion. And why do I feel like I need to walk on eggshells regarding risk of saying something and getting a snarky remark?
