Came for the margaritas. I asked for strawberry flavor, but the chick instead gave me coconut. I must admit it was pretty good, too. I also asked for wings and mozzarella sticks, but instead got wings and calamari. The wings weren’t fully cooked and were big for nothing. The calamari was ok. I had better. Anyways, I guess this place gives you what they feel you need, not what you ordered. But since the drinks were two for one, I will come back. And from other post, I didn’t even know they had lunch specials. The waitress should inform the customers when they are seated.

Had the chicken tinga taco salad at the bar. It was fantastic! The fresh chips, guacamole and salsa were outstanding (inhaled them). Friend had some bowl with shrimp, chicken and steak. He devoured the whole thing. Will definitely be back.

I have tried two main courses here and found them both lacking pleasingly good flavor. One of them was the (pictured below) Grilled Pork Chops (2). The black beans that accompanied the Pork Chops did not come close to the best that I have had elsewhere. They have what they call “The Tower,” (pictured below), it is a mixture of seafood and sea bass, served at refrigerator temperature. I found it to have only the flavor of spices. Save 3% by paying with cash.

As for the food, it’s decent if not basic, nothing special. The enchilada lunch special ($15.19, tax included) needed more heat/chilies. I also had to ask for the lunch menu; if you were not aware then you’d end ordering from the more expensive dinner menu.

I’ve been eating out in New York for 5 years and I have to say this is one of the best value lunches I’ve ever had.
From the free chips with salsa when you sit down to the inclusion of a delightful Frozen Margarita with the very large lunch plate and all for less than $16
The food was great as well. I went for the Steak fajitas and there was enough for a small horse – if horses ate steak
Lots of really good seating options and very friendly staff mean I will definitely be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I’ve come here a few times for dinner and really enjoyed it. The food is tasty, servers are friendly, and ambiance is pleasant.
They seating arrangement is decent – there are tables outside the restaurant on the sidewalk, with additional tables on the street, set up under a tent (convenient if it rains). All are decently spaced apart for Covid.
The chips and salsa are pretty average, but the best bang for your buck is really in the margaritas. There is a small size ($10) and large size ($18) in addition to the pitcher size you can get of their drinks. The large size is the way to go – plus their drinks tend to go on the stronger side which is great. I always go for the classic margarita but we also tried the mojito, which was good.
For food, I really enjoyed their chicken enchiladas – the chicken is tender, and the rice & beans and vegetables are tasty.
The chicken fajitas are pretty good as well – but have had better. Nevertheless, the chicken was tender and the mix of grilled vegetables served with the chicken was flavorful.
Although this is not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, I would recommend stopping by if you live in the area – At least for a marg 😉

I must say service was great. It was also my first time having Pozole which was amazing and full of flavor. However, the breakfast platter was lacking flavor and they didn’t have blood Mary for brunch or apple juice. I would definitely go back for the pozole. That was amazing! The mojito was good

This place is always solid, and has been a go-to for my wife and I for years. The enchiladas are particularly good, and they have delicious, (*large*) margaritas, friendly staff and excellent service.
