We start out by using only 100% halal certificated chicken tenders and marinating them in our world-famous Red’s Chicken Rub. After that, our chicken gets a bath in our homemade breading and then hits the fryers for a swim in our all-natural oil. A final dusting of Red’s secret “Red Rub” is applied and these bomb fire eats are ready to serve. Each sandwich or tenders basket is always made to order – fresh, fast, and outrageously delicious. Guests can choose between six unique spice levels ranging from Mild to FKU CRA! Yes, it’s that crazy. Our sandwiches come on a 3” potato rolls and are served as twins. The standard build includes bun, chicken, pickle, and house-made cilantro slaw topped with Red’s Famous Big Bird Sauce.

Red Bird Hot Chicken & Fries is next-level good. The chicken is insanely crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the heat is perfectly balanced—you actually taste the flavor, not just the spice. The fries are seasoned just right and pair perfectly with the chicken (especially with their sauces ).

We tried this place for the first time and it was amazing. The chicken was very nice and crisp. The fries where hot and crunchy yet soft. The side sauces are good but I wish they had more variety of the spicier type. The spicy seasoning could be better but it’s still very tasty.
The reason behind 4 stars and not 5 is because the chicken rice bowl barely had any chicken in it. More chicken less rice would be ideal. The nuggets looked precooked frozen from a bag.

I recently went to The Red Bird and ordered the spicy burger. It was very tasty! The burger had just the right amount of medium-spice to make it taste better without being too spicy. It’s a great deal for the price and the taste you get. With its open layout and friendly vibe, the lunch is a great place to grab a casual meal. I really think burger fans should go there!

It is rare for me to award a new restaurant with four stars, but this one truly deserves it. The establishment is impeccably clean, and the food is delicious. While the prices are reasonable, a slight reduction would be appreciated. Additionally, the service could be improved, and I found it puzzling that there was no staff available to take orders.

I had a great experience at The Redbird! I ordered the 2-piece tender with fries, and the food was absolutely delicious. A small inconvenience came up during my visit, but management handled it with such professionalism and patience, making sure everything was quickly taken care of. This was hands down better than all the hot chicken spots I’ve tried! I even gave another Redbird in Reston a shot, but this Redbird blew it out of the water. It was so much better! The chicken was incredibly tender, the atmosphere was just right, and the staff were super friendly. Plus, it’s so spacious, making the whole experience even better. Definitely worth the drive from Herndon and new my go-to spot from now on!
