This BBQ joint is an absolute gem! Every bite is packed with bold, mouthwatering flavor, and the quality of the meats is top-notch. I’ve basically made it my mission to eat my way through the entire men, and spoiler alert, there hasn’t been a single miss yet. And then there are the chocolate pecan cookies… homemade by the owners and dangerously good. Let’s just say they’ve officially earned “personal favorite” status and I may or may not plan my visits to the area around them!

I got briskets and ribs. The rib is really good, but you only get one. It was a big rib though, but I was really disappointed in the brisket. I could tell as soon as I opened it it was very dry and then there was only one small thing of barbecue sauce it wasn’t really enough for all the brisket. They gave a lot of brisket. The proportion was big in the price was good. I don’t think I’ll go back smoky mos place to go.

3* is stretching it. This place used to be so much better. All that’s worth getting now is the sauce and the sweet tea. 1) pecan pie served hard cold 2) brisket dried out and too lean 3) chicken skin stretchy and chewy like a rawhide 4) menu and pricing that has been changed so many time you don’t know what they actually serve and what it’ll cost you 5) flavorless potato salad

The BBQ here is so moist and tender. The 3 meat plate is the best deal. I get brisket , ribs , and turkey , with 2 sides of potato salad and green beans. Customer service is very welcoming. The ice tea and cherry lemonade are really good. This is a small locally owned business that knows BBQ. They have a small outdoor enclosed seating area. On the corner of river road and FM 2673 , conveniently located across the street from 7-11 and nextdoor to the VFW.

Cool place, unfortunately dine in is not open. Food is good. They messed up mine and my sons order, we got 2 meat plate but didn’t get sausage only brisket. Potato salad was good, mac&cheese was good, coleslaw was a bit watery. BBQ sauce is on the sweeter side. My wife also order 2 meat plate and sausage was really good. Worth of visit. Not expensive at all..

3-meat plate with Turkey, Pork Loin, and Brisket with sides Mac-n-Cheese and Potato Salad. All three of the meats were excellent with the Turkey being my favorite! The sides were good as well, even though I prefer more mustard in my Potato Salad. They add the BBQ sauce onto the meat by default, so if you prefer it on the side, be sure to request that. It seems like a family owned place, has a nice atmosphere. The tables are closed for use on my visit 3/5/22.

Really back and cool looking place good food and brisket smoked right and all my food was already gone in about 5 seconds, you want a good barbecue place to come sit down with your family and have a nice meal I will try it out definitely. It is a must.

The dining area is outside so we uncomfortable eating with the 40 degree weather that we had. It wasn’t too expensive for BBQ, but then again, we were eating outside. All-in-all we were just unimpressed.

Very good BBQ, takeouts only. I had the 2 meat plate – brisket and sausage with potato salad and mac & cheese. Brisket was really good but the sausage was on the hard side. Potato salad was okay but the Mac & cheese was good. Also we had a gallon of lemonade which was sweet & refreshing.

Ordered a 2-meat sandwich of sliced beef and jalapeño cheddar sausage with a sweet BBQ sauce. The sausage has some nice spice, but the meat was a bit grainy in texture. The Mac & Cheese was good and adding it to the sandwich made the sandwich even better. Overall solid BBQ but disappointing you can’t use any of the picnic tables there to enjoy the food. Not sure the reason why, but this place is to go only.
