Never been to ATL and had an overnight layover. Searched for a great breakfast near our hotel. THIS PLACE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The food was great! (Shrimp n grits, chicken and waffle, biscuits and honey WHICH WERE MELT IN YOUR MOUTH BISCUITS!!!) Our server “Unique” was on point. My coffee was always full, she made great suggestions, and treated us like she knew us personally as if we’d been coming for years! 10 out of 10!!!

Once we arrived, we were greeted… Well looked at by a young lady near the door. I guest she was the hostess. She wasn’t that friendly…. She escorted us to our table and we sat down. Our waitress was really nice. The honey butter biscuits were absolutely amazing!! I got the steak and eggs. The steak was a bit chewy. However everything else was great. My daughter got the cookies and cream waffle with eggs and bacon. She enjoyed her meal. They also have great coffee and the mimosas are decent. This was our first visit but I would definitely try this restaurant again.

Good food and even better service. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and provided stellar service. I ordered the lobster and egg biscuit, and my daughter ate the oatmeal with fried biscuits. Both are very tasty and hot. I would return

We went on 8/2/23 for lunch before our flight. Since we are not from Altanta we were looking for something to eat near the airport.

I made reservations for 10 am for 2 to have brunch for my significant other’s birthday at a local restaurant. I thought that since it was a new spot in my area that we could go there to patronize them and get a new experience at the same time. So tell me, someone PLEASE tell me, why was it that when we arrived at 10, the place wasn’t even open?!?!?! I mean why would their website allow me to make reservations for 10 but they were just beginning to set-up when we arrived? Luckily, we were able to salvage the birthday celebration by making our way over to the Real Milk & Honey for a delicious brunch and I am so happy that we did because it worked out wonderfully! You never get a second chance to make a good first impression and fortunately, the Real Milk & Honey made a great first impression so we will definitely be going back! Our server was named Unique, and her name was appropriate for the experience that we had. She was personable, friendly, attentive, prompt, expedient and very professional………just like the restaurant! The vibe and ambiance were on point. The turnover rate from placing our order to receiving our food was VERY quick, which we loved. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. The price was kinda steep (which is why they only got 4 stars, but we did have a carafe of mimosa’s so there is that) but it was worth it just to recover from that waste of time at the restaurant that we were initially planning to visit. I had the surf and turf, and my 2 protein options were grilled lobster tail and shrimp, and I added cheese eggs (which were not the best which also added to the 4-star rating). Nevertheless, my brunch mate had the chicken biscuit breakfast, and it was all very tasteful and delicious. I can’t say enough good things about the Real Milk and Honey, and I / We will definitely be going back. One restaurants loss is now The Real Milk & Honey’s gain!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE “THE REAL MILK & HONEY EATERY & BAR!”… Soooooo, I came to Atlanta, for my Summer Vacation (Part 2). While at my hotel, I asked the Manager about any Black Owned Brunch Recommendations; she highly recommended ‘The Real Milk & Honey’ … I’m so glad she did! IT WAS A COMPLETE VIBE! … My Girlfriend and I had a BLAST! GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, AND GREAT ATMOSPHERE! … They get a 10 out 10 from me! I highly recommend this EATERY! … Be sure to check out our Picture Story! You can see for yourself!

Food and service were fantastic. The honey butter biscuits were so yummy and buttery soft. The blacked salmon grits with spinach was outstanding and perfectly seasoned. Shrimp and grits with spinach was great. Coffee was good, but small. Mango mimosa was okay. Service was outstanding – thanks, T! Be prepared to scan the card on the table to access the menu. Warning the card only worked with iPhone for us. Headsup, check your bill as were were going to add a heafty tip and just happened to notice that gratuity had already been added for our table of two.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Unforgettable experience and food. I got to try the seafood tower, honey butter biscuits (heaven) and the shrimp and grits. The servers here are incredible and create a welcoming and joyous atmosphere, including impromptu dance breaks. Kennedy in particular was a stand out of impeccable service, warmth and hospitality. They do bump the music so I would recommend hearing protection for the little ones if you’re planning on staying for a long time.

The atmosphere is nice, our server was great, but the food was just mediocre. Whiskey sours, shrimp and grits, jerk chicken and waffles should’ve equaled a fabulous brunch but it was just ok. The jerk wings were the star of the meal. A little on the small side but grilled and seasoned to perfection.

First off you have to start with the milk & honey biscuits, they are phenomenal. We also got the shrimp and grits and the avocado toast, both were amazing dishes. Service was great, she recommended everything to us. Only thing that shocked us was the mimosas were $14 each. Really high price for a simple mimosa. Otherwise everything was great, would highly recommend.
