THE RAVEN 96

Is definitely a a hidden breakfast spot gem. I was visiting a family member in the hospital and googled breakfast spots in the area and I have to say it was well WORTH IT! We will definitely be back again for some good food. If you’re ever in the area give them a play.

Located in The Simon Silk Market in Easton, Pa. This was a trip for breakfast/ lunch on a Sunday. Service was excellent, most of us got breakfast style meals which were solid. Certain breads, we were told, was from The Easton Bakery. Take a walk around and check out the shops and buildings. Easton did a great job renovating this area which closed the 1960’s and brought it back to life.

Review for The Raven 96

We’ve been to The Raven 96 over ten times now, and every visit has been fantastic. Their breakfast and lunch options are consistently flavorful and well-prepared — you can always count on a delicious meal. The service is top-notch, with staff who are attentive and genuinely friendly.

The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and hip, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. You can tell that Raven and her family pour their heart and soul into the business, and it shows in every detail. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience!

Tried The Raven 96 today for the first time; as I had family members host my ‘bridal brunch’ the atmosphere was amazing! And we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was also very tasty! They were also very accommodating with our party of 10! Overall a very pleasant and amazing experience ❤️

Delicious food! Our waitress was so on top of everything and very sweet! The delivery of a cocktail from the sister store (tipsy crow) was fun and tasty! Only downfall would be the lack of seating for the size of space they have, you could definitely fit more tables! Arrive early to avoid waiting for a table

4/2025: First time customer. I had the Sunday Club with Salad. It was good. Especially the fried egg . The space was open and we sat next to the large windows on this sunny morning. There were Easter decorations. Lovely.

I will try this place again and have breakfast.

My one concern was that I was charged $3 per refill of unsweetened tea (3x) even though my friend had coffee with free refills. I have never paid for refills at other restaurants. It is certainly out of the ordinary. I removed one star ⭐ from the review for this and the fact that I was not told refills are not free by our waitress.

IF this is your standard practice please let people know when they order as it is not typical.

The cost would have been under $20 without the two extra charges.

I recently visited The Raven 96 and had a lovely brunch. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly. I ordered the French toast with strawberries and bananas, and it was delicious perfectly fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. The fancy cold coffee was a great complement, smooth and refreshing. It was a really enjoyable experience, and I’ll be back for another relaxing brunch.

I came here for Sunday brunch and had a great experience. They had live characters for the holiday (Grinch, Santa, Mrs Clause) to go around and interact with the guests and kids, they even took photos and entertained the guests that were waiting to be sat. This along with the decorations and music really made a wonderful experience for everyone. I think restaurants that have been around for a while should take notes on how to improve their atmospheres. Service here was also great, any interaction with the staff was pleasant. The food is great, they have options for everyone and it’s made fresh and from scratch with an open kitchen. It’s nice to see a new place like this can actively enhance the community. Will definitely be back soon!

Outstanding experience whenever we come here! Enjoyed sharing the French toast bites with my table. I highly recommend the everything bagel breakfast sandwich or any of the eggs benny. Staff is always so kind here. Will definitely be back!

The Raven 96 has had great food each time we’ve been able to make it in! The service is also always excellent. It has a great vibe, and it’s pretty cozy.

For today’s trip in, I had ordered the spice spice baby, which is an omelet with pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, chorizo, and topped with corn salsa. It was exactly what I was looking for out of it, not overpowering, but had the heat. The corn salsa was delicious, and I could totally see buying a jar of it on its own. The fried potatoes that come with it were also great, well seasoned and buttery.

To drink, I had gotten their mimosa flight, which is currently fall based flavors. All of them were unique and pretty decent. This did come on a separate cheque, as this gets charged to their other business, The Tipsy Crow.

My husband ordered the country benny, which is eggs Benedict on top of sausage gravy & biscuits. He enjoyed it as well, and also enjoyed the breakfast potatoes. To drink, he had gotten the caramel crunch, followed by a plain coffee, which he said both were good.

We have only been on week days, as I know the weekends there can be quite hectic, but rightfully so due to the quality of the food. The prices are a little higher than standard breakfast places around, but once again the quality and freshness of the food is worth the price. We usually go when we want to treat ourselves during vacation days, and it’s always great!
