The Rathskeller Pizza and Grill—affectionately known on campus as “The Rat”—is on the ground floor of Evans Hall and is a great place for casual dining, with big-screen TVs, pool tables, music and a menu featuring made-to-order pizza, chicken wings, burgers, fries, fresh-baked cookies and vegan/vegetarian options. A small convenience store offers a variety of bottled beverages, snacks and grocery and convenience items. Delivery services are available on campus, as well.

Jesus christ, this place sucks.
Every food item is overpriced, the pizza is not good to eat, I can’t breathe in the area where you order since the grease fills your lungs, and the place SMELLS LIKE MOLD. They are only in business for students who really need a pre-midnight meal or snack.
At least the service is decent but the fact that I had to pay extra for sauce is dumb.

Food tastes like it’s microwaved. It’s the only place on campus open past 9 pm, so it’s good if you get back late and need food, but it’s overpriced.
Also, you probably consume 10-50 calories per breath due to the grease in the air, so you might not have to order food.

Rathskellers is okay but could be so much better. Firstly, the pizza is okay. The pizza usually tastes pretty good, but the times I’ve had it, they can never get the crust right. It’s pretty bland. Ive heard BAD things about the cheeseburgers though. The prices are also either average or even a little above. It isn’t a “cheap” place to eat. They also have nothing but marinara and ranch for condiments. No salt, no pepper, parmesan, red pepper, and no plates! You have to eat off napkins or the packaging although they do have forks etc. The atmosphere isn’t good either. There’s no music and they play strange movies on the TVs. It also smells heavily like a basement. And no music so you sit in silence or over others talking. They do have two pool tables and some free arcade machines which is nice. I really wish Rathskellers was better and it seems they get business solely because it’s an on-campus late night option and a hangout spot. If you’re just wanting a pizza, get delivery from somewhere else.

The only thing consistent about this place is the terrible food and extremely high prices, only reason they’re still in business is because they except school currency. Food always takes way to long to make, is typically cold when you get it, pizzas are consistently burnt and greasy, and the smell that radiates from this place sticks to you for a week. Can’t say I’ve ever had a good experience but there’s really no other option late at night.

Honestly, it’s not the worst place I have eaten, but with the other options on campus, this is a last resort. Certain items are too pricey, while others are on the money (literally). I recommend the cheese steak, which is pretty good for a guy that has lived right outside of Philly most of his life, and the curly fries. I would highly stray away from the chicken bites and larger pizzas, for the chicken is too dry and the pizza is too greasy. The personal pizza is good, though, so that is a recommendation as well. The Eatery isn’t anything special, but it’s a fun hangout with decent food. 3 stars.

I go there pretty often, mostly because it accepts the college currency. Basically I don’t have another choice. It’s not the worst but it is not good. If you want to spend your own money and not the college currency, it gets pretty expensive for the price they charge. It’s just there to hang on until you get some money to eat elsewhere.

the food is really good, but the delivery sucks (all because of THE guy who answers the phone most of the time, this time I will not say his name) he is incredibly rude and as a consequence the order comes wrong 1 out of 2 times literally, I order almost everyday so I would know. getting tired of it.

I ordered delivery to my dorm room and after two hours the food had not arrived, so I gave them a call and they delivered my food to the wrong room. They said that the grill was now closed and there was nothing they could do. Do not order from this place.
