We have loved The Range for years. We were a little disappointed this trip. I miss their zebra bead loaf, the shrimp was a bit over cooked, but our medium sreaks were served a touch above rare.
Eating before a concert we did not want to wait for the steaks to be redone, as we had already waited quite a while. They did accomodate my husband by adding the tumbleweed onions to his filet. The service was very good and servers were friendly and attentive. We love the atmosphere there, and the cozy booths that look out over the river.

What a disappointment. We went for my wife’s birthday thinking we were going to have a great dinner and experience. As soon as we walked in the lady in the front (Cheryl) was very curt with her replies, but I just chalked it up to maybe she was having a bad. No biggie. When you go to an expensive steakhouse the food and the service are part of the experience. Ramona, our server, had no charisma. Which was kind of surprising because she had a couple of shout outs in the reviews. Her helper Emily was sweet and attentive. For our drinks my wife ordered a lemonade that tasted like watered down sour mix, and I ordered an old fashioned that was just a bunch of ice, two cherries, and a splash of coke and a splash of whiskey. I have never had an old fashioned with bubbles in it. In all fairness though there isn’t one restaurant on the river that can make a proper old fashioned. Our dinner rolls were delicious. The salads were decent. My wife ordered the 14oz NY strip, that didn’t look like 14oz. What came out wasn’t a strip but 2 pieces of charred meat. Her side dish of mashed potatoes had 3 large cloves of garlic that were cooked but would’ve been better if they had been roasted. Definitely not worth $70. I had the 14oz ribeye, which did not look like 14oz. The steak wasn’t bad, but for $65 every bite should be delicious. I’ve been to enough steakhouses to know that this is possible. I didn’t even bother finishing my side of asparagus. It was cooked long enough to just to get the grill marks on it and was served with some yellow sour cheese sauce. At $125 a person I don’t see us ever going back. Especially when go down the hill and pay half the price or go across the river and pay a 1/4 of the price food that is just as good and service that is friendly.

Brandy & Ramona provided excellent customer service. The suggested Chocolate Old Fashion was delicious. Ordered the wedge salad and chicken madiera which were both amazing. Always make sure to come here when I’m in town.

We had such an incredible experience at The Range Steakhouse, and it was truly made exceptional by Glen and Emily (aka “America’s Sweetheart” and honestly, the nickname fits!).

From the moment we sat down, they were warm, attentive, and completely on top of everything without ever being overbearing. Their timing was perfect, their recommendations were spot on, and they made the whole evening feel special and fun.

The shrimp cocktail was absolutely delicious. So fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. And the lobster mac and cheese? Next level. Rich, indulgent, and easily one of the best we’ve had. On top of that, the champagne bottle specials were such a great surprise and made the night feel even more celebratory.

Glen and Emily truly elevated the entire dining experience. Service like that makes all the difference, and we can’t wait to come back. If you go, definitely ask for them! You’ll be in the best hands!

The Range has friendly service, Otto and Aaron were very personable, but the speed of the kitchen is frustrating, you’re going to be there for close to two hours for even simple meals. The food itself was disappointing for seafood, the meat was decent but you’d really expect better from a casino and the only steakhouse in it. Solid presentation though. Seated nicely on the Colorado River for views, but…I’d pass on The Range for sure, it’s a one-hitter quitter for me, I won’t be back.

I am so glad that things happen the way they do. Ended up having dinner here and I have to admit this was an absolute hidden gem in Laughlin. First Nick thank you so much for rolling with the jokes and appreciation that I made your day with a joke. I don’t get that to often but your service, and attention to detail was on point along with Jessica that evening with my family and friends. I wished I k ew about this place sooner but now is better than never. You two were so awesome and the food was top notch and I can’t thank you enough for making memorable memories we will have to share to our friends and family! I love that we were able to sit by the window to see the river. The atmosphere was amazing and I can’t wait to come back and see you again! I recommend this place if you’re ever in Laughlin!!

First class service by Brandy & Aaron was a highlight, along with a lovely atmosphere and view. The food was more mediocre. I had a tasteless prime rib, and we returned our shared dessert, chocolate ganache cake, which was overly sweet wirh low-grade-tasting chocolate. My partner’s rib eye steak was 4 stars, with a very good wedge salad, but the potatoes were cold. i give 5 stars to the side of wild mushrooms-lovely and plentiful in a flavorful sauce.

We had a good time. First, I want to call out Otto and Jessica, our servers. They were outstanding, thorough, professional and a delight to engage.

The food was pretty good. The wine list was odd: either pedestrian selections or really high-priced items. Still, we selected a pinot noir that went well with dinner. Our cocktails (two different martinis) were perfect.

The bread service and salads were okay, but the entrees were prepared perfectly. I had the ribeye, which was seasoned wonderfully and cooked to order (medium rare). She had the sea bass on special, and it was yummy. Our entrees were a bit pricey, however, especially since this was Laughlin, not Vegas (where we live).

Although we didn’t opt for it, there was an all-you-can-eat prime rib special for $40. They bring out a 10-ounce cut and, if you finish that, they bring smaller portions from there, each 2 ounces smaller than the last. We’re not all-you-can-eat people, but this did look intriguing and people should know about it. I believe it’s available on Wednesdays and Thursdays only.

We paid premium prices, and while the service certainly lived up to it, the quality was just a tad short. Otto and Jessica, however, were wonderful and that made the overall experience a good one.

From start to finish, everything was suburb. Glen & Jessica continually made sure we were taken care of during the coarse of the meal. We visit the Range about 4-5 times each year for special occasions. We highly recommend it.
I had the Seafood Diaovolol. It was loaded with crab, shrimp and chunks of seafood. My partner had the Swordfish. The amounts were ample, even took some home.

First off, the overly tanned hostess left a bad taste in my mouth from the get-go. Went in at 5:45 without a reservation to see if we could get in. Was told only timeslot was 8:30 (they close at 9). I went on the OpenTable app and booked a reservation for 6:45 (1 hour later). Went back and she didn’t even acknowledge what happened. Sat down and only about 30% of the tables were occupied so getting in shouldn’t have been an issue.

Service was great but somewhat slow, although we weren’t in a hurry so it didn’t matter. If we had gone at 8:30, there wouldn’t have been enough time as we were there for about 90 minutes.

Food was decent but could have been better. Sautéed mushrooms were tasty. Asparagus was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning. Mashed potatoes were great. The all-you-can-eat prime rib was cut incredibly thin and was bland.

Overall it was decent but not the best. If you can’t get a reservation from the hostess, check the OpenTable app. Or better yet, just use the app and avoid the hostess all-together.
