No one does American standards like The Range. quality ingredients through experienced hands that care about making good food. Decided to go on the way back from some wineries and was pleased we did. portions are BIG so be careful with your appetizers. Also, bring cash. They don’t take cards. We had a group of 6 so thinking it was going to be AT LEAST a hundie a head, i brought a grand. Bit surprised when we got a 380 dollar bill… Six people. All in all, amazing night at crazy reasonable price. let’s get it!

Best tomato bisque I’ve had! I got the tomato bisque and it came jive and hot with homemade croutons on top. This was the special of the night and it was reasonably priced. The rest of my family got the 14 ounce coffee crusted rib eye, elk steak and a salad I tried some of every ones it it was all amazing it meat dishes were pretty pricey but it was worth it. We also got the clams as our starter and those were so good! The juice/sauce they were in was soo good. We ordered dessert and that was even better I got the meyer lemon cake and it was so good it came with a slice of the cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. WOULD RECOMMEND GOING HERE!

It’s one of our all-time favorite restaurants! It is definitely hands-down, our favorite restaurant in California. Everything if fresh, local harvest and the service is sincerely wonderful. The team is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain their daily entree choices. The venue is small, cozy, comfortable, and quaint. It is definitely worth a visit! They open at 5, and make sure you bring enough “fun-tickets” with you. Although not too pricey, they only accept cash. Be prepared, then stop on in for a real treat!

One of the best meals of my whole life. The whole menu was carefully crafted and well thought out. Service was amazing and the food was plated delicately to please the eye without sacrificing portions or flavor. Our server even gave us a couple bags of their coffee to take home because we enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend this family owned restaurant with a nice relaxed, quaint, and cute atmosphere great service and amazing food. I will be coming here anytime I’m near the SLO area.

Underrated restaurant in the heart of Santa Margarita. We wish there was an option to give this restaurant 10 stars!! Absolutely loved the food, the ambience, the host and the decor. A true California cuisine, farm to table menu, many amazing dishes and daily chef specials, you need to make a reservation ahead of time, we celebrated a graduation party, everyone was impressed and pleased with the food, it was highly recommend to us and it didn’t disappoint.
