This was so so yummy. I got the tofu Ramen bowl. My family got a bunch of other things. Everything was delicious. Service was great. There was a lot of hustle and bustle since it was Christmas time. 2 Thumbs up.

Highly Recommend…This restaurant is AWESOME!! Super views of the mountain and ski slopes and close to the gondola. It’s right next to the ice skating rink and lawn to enjoy a drink or meal while you watch the kids play. The food is wonderful and the service is top notch. There is a section where you can order yourself and pickup at the counter, along with a section for sit down service with a waiter. Killer drinks on tap, big wine and mixed drink selection, and a fountain drink machine with tons of options. They salads and sandwiches, soups and pizzas, tacos and dessert… You’ll find it all at the range. Fair prices, tasty meals, and good times await. Aidan is truly the best and always takes amazing care of me and my crew. We are welcomed with friendly faces and big smiles by the staff and they seem truly happy to help. Indoor and outdoor seating and two levels leave plenty of room for the whole pack. Thanks Steamboat…we will be back.

My visit to The Range in Steamboat Springs was an absolute treat! The staff here is incredibly friendly, always greeting you with a warm smile and making sure you feel right at home. The space is fantastic—bright, modern, and perfectly designed with stunning views of the resort. The food was out of this world; I couldn’t get enough of the gyro, packed with tender, flavorful meat and fresh toppings, or the meat and cheese plate, which was a delightful mix of savory goodness. The meatball sub was another standout—juicy, hearty, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy,

Outdoor sitting area with nice view of ski area. Easy to order food on phone and they bring out to your table. Food was hot with good presentation.
I would definitely return to try other menu items.

Amazing location. Right at the base. After a good day of skiing just walk in to the food hall and order whatever you want. There are options for sandwiches, ramen, pizza, tacos. We ordered, right from our table which was convenient, Chili Tofu Ramen and Nashville hot chicken tacos, ice cream sandwich. Tasty food. Food is filling. I have only two qualms – 1. We ordered all times at the same time expecting the dessert will be brought to the table after main course. But they bring everything at the same time. So we got our dessert before our main course. 2. Spicy was not spicy at all and chicken kinda hard. It costed us $90 which was kinda expensive but we expect that from ski resort restaurants. That’s the only time they can make some money. All good with me.

Decent option for a quick bite on the mountain. I got the pesto chicken sandwich from the Why Not sandwich shop and was pleased with my meal. I did the to-go option so I can’t speak for the service, but the facilities were clean and my food was ready in about 10 min. A bit overpriced for the food, but it’s on par for other restaurants around the base area. As The Range works out their kinks, I’d recommend another similarly priced restaurant around the ski area for higher quality, such as The Paramount.

First of all, let me say that the two levels of Range seem very different. The first level is “order yourself via a QR code.” The second level is a traditional table service style. I was on the 2nd level.
With that said, I had a fantastic time. The selection of food and drink was excellent, and very tasty. There was live music, which was perfect. The views were excellent, as was the service.
The negative reviews here didn’t match my experience at all. Reading them , though, I say would say – if you come here, go to the 2nd floor !

Pork belly ramen with GF noodles is delicious, and the GF pizza crusts were quite good too, thin and crispy, not gummy.

Place is pretty cool. Great location. However you only get a server if you go up stairs. Downstairs is a QR code. It is a food hall setup. I had a good experience.

Came here on a summer night. Awful service. I felt bad for our server, who seemed like a nice guy, but was clearly overwhelmed. My food came out wrong, twice. Just dealt with it being wrong. I ordered a poke bowl with tofu, and while the tofu was warm and tasty, the rice tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for days. My husband’s chicken sandwich was fine. Couldn’t get water. Had to ask multiple times for plates and other things. They did give us a discount (without us asking or saying anything), so that was appreciated. However, I still wouldn’t recommend this place.
