We decided to eat here before the concert at the rodeo. To our surprise we were seated right away inside the venue. It’s a really cute setup they have on the inside. We started with calamari which was literally some of the best I ever had. Had the ribeye and loaded mashed potatoes for entree. Everything was good. Drinks were expensive but they pour them generously. Overall I recommend giving it a try.

Wow, this is a beautiful, temporary venue at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Great upscale restaurant and bar, featuring western decor, looks like you are exploring Yellowstone. Well done. It’s hard to believe that it is set up under a tent.

You are paying for the ambiance. The food is not bad, just not worth the high prices. The bread was hands down the best bread I’ve ever tasted! Be prepared for a service charge, it’s 23%. They won’t serve your wine in a glass unless you buy the entire bottle. Bathrooms are portable and co-ed. Careful with bartenders over charging at the Saloon after dark! Make reservations so you’re not standing in a long line.

Ate in the steakhouse for a 7pm reservation.
It was full. If you’d like to eat there, especially a weekend evening, walk in not recommended.
Our service was great, despite Michael saying he had only been working for the hospitality company for a short time. He was fun.
Price: Yes it’s not cheap, but this is clearly a large pop up operation meant to provide nicer dining in what most of the year is a parking lot.
Costs to operate are high. The menu is available online, so take a look and don’t be surprised.
Get fried Oreos outside for dessert if you want a smaller check. Otherwise the food was great. Steak cooked perfectly, and the sides were good portions. Plenty to share. Cheers y’all!

I had a visitors and wanted them to try great Texas steak i was always talking about. However, The food and service were great, and we had an enjoyable meal—until the bill arrived. We were a party of four, yet a 23% automatic gratuity was added without notice, even though standard practice is usually for parties of six or more. While I always tip fairly, it felt like the waitress assumed we wouldn’t, which was disappointing. A great dining experience should end on a positive note, not with an unnecessary assumption about customers.

Used to be a Rodeo staple but the experience has tanked significantly. Food was cold, waiters were hard to come by, prices were insane, and they charged a 23% service charge automatically leaving no room for accountability.

In addition, they overcharged our tab by double the initial price and then couldn’t figure out their own system to get the issue resolved. Took 45 minutes to get a credit. Seems like this is a recurring issue based on the comments below.

Watch out.

Biggest problem is management, especially Krista. The wait staff was very nice and tried to be helpful, but the kitchen and manager were terrible. We had problems all night, they brought out the wrong steaks and the ones that were correct were not cooked at the right temperature. Then the manager refused to take the steaks off our bill when we told her we didn’t want them because it wasn’t what we ordered. She also had the audacity to bring the same steak out three times when we told her it wasn’t what we ordered. I will never go back and wouldn’t recommend anyone eat here.

The food was delicious! Drinks were pricey but amazing. Super crowded. Had reservations but still waited quite a while. There was a very weird vibe. Some kind of issue with tip sharing. Some people seemed very irritated over it.

Overpriced and not worth the hype. Dinner for two was $238 before a mandatory 23% “fee” for a tip for all the staff to share. We even shared a salad and didn’t have any alcohol; only water to drink! And our waiter told us if we wanted to tip him separately we could give him cash. Uh, no thanks. Once and done.

Service food and vibe 10/10. One issue with one of the steaks was over cooked but they corrected immediately
