Best food we’ve had all trip! Jen, our server, was amazing! Highly recommend the lamb fries. They are better than cattleman’s! Also the first place I’ve been to in a while that can actually cook a good steak! Very tender and seasoned perfectly! Highly recommend. Ps: their sweet tea was also perfect southern sweet tea!

The four of us ordered chicken, fried chicken, ribeye, steak, grilled shrimp, and fried catfish. Everything was fantastic. The service was also very friendly and very fast. They have a separate room that can be reserved. The restaurant overlooks the Kamichi river, beautiful location.

Different and unusual place. Out of the way is putting it mildly! Rustic, clean and some decent natural views.

From the amazing views on the drive there to the atmosphere & food, everything was amazing! My wife got the chicken fried chicken, which was the best we’ve ever had, and i got the ribeye, which was amazing and cooked to perfection! Our waitress, Kylee, did great, there was no waiting or asking for refills, overall experience was awesome, we drove an hour and a half to get here and it was well worth it, the pricing of everything was very fair also. Give this place a shot and you will be glad you did!

Me, my wife and our daughter loved the food! We had the chicken fried chicken and the special seafood loaded baked potato! That creamy Cajun cheese sauce on the potato was delicious!

My husband and I went there for the first time last night for his birthday. We absolutely LOVED our steaks, they tasted delicious! My husband is a good cook, and I often don’t find someone who cooks steaks better than he does, but we both agreed they were a 10 on a scale of a 1 to 10. We also very much enjoyed our baked potatoes, they were delicious! We enjoyed the loaf of bread that was brought to us, and very much enjoyed our appetizer too, the fried green tomatoes with the jack cheese, pimento cheese, and secret sauce on the side. I loved the fried green tomatoes just like they were, but my husband really loved their secret sauce and he liked the pimento cheese as well. I’m not a pimento cheese lover, so that was OK for me, but their fried green tomatoes were very, very good. Additionally, we got their fudge brownie with ice cream as a complementary birthday dessert and we’re not even chocolate lovers, and would give that a ten (10) also. We usually enjoy bread pudding, but the chocolate dessert was so good, we embraced that and took the bread pudding home. I wasn’t too crazy about their salad, but my husband said there’s more there than meets the eye. They do make their dressings from scratch from my understanding and he said his thousand island was spot on.
I believe we met his dad, the chef’s, father, when we got there, and he was a great host. We would also give him a top notch score. The waitress was good at getting us are things, and we did not have long wait times at all there either.
All in all, we would give our visit there an absolutely fabulous score! We are definitely going to go there again and can’t wait to try some more of their fabulous entrées.

Steak was too salty to eat. Sent back after one bite. Instead of bringing me another steak or taking it off my bill they took off 6 dollars of my 24 dollar steak that I could not eat. They offered me a piece of cake or pie instead. The place was not busy at all, sat right down and ordered… then waited over an hour for our food. I was so disappointed from a so called professional chef that supposedly worked for Oklahoma governor… I have a feeling he might have been fired from there. Considering the steak was too salty to eat and the attitude about making it right. I will never go back and I recommend people find another place if you’re looking for a great steak.
What is comical is a restaurant attacking a customer with a legit complaint. I sent my steak back after one bite. You offered a slice of cake or piece of pie. The correct thing to do would be remove the cost of my meal from the bill. Instead you took 6 dollars off my 24 dollar steak. When I mentioned this you said that’s all you can do. To wait over an hour was also unacceptable. Especially how the restaurant was not crowded. Look at others who complained… too salty too much seasoning apparently I’m not the only one. I’m not hiding I told you that night what I thought and you and the chef seemed to care less. I will never be back. OMG. Every single thing that we had was absolutely fantastic and so delicious! Come here for sure they are so friendly too. The location is beautiful too. It’s definitely worth the drive. The salad was so fresh and my chicken strips were so crunchy and perfect. All of it was perfect! Plus the place is super clean.
