If you can get over the cafe being a bit outdated in decor and having a bit of a long wait at times…. Plus that it’s an old school kind of dive restaurant…… you WILL go back !
I had the Best BLT I’ve ever ever had! It’s the first place I’ve eaten than uses fresh turkey breast in the turkey BLT and not just deli turkey slices!! The sandwich was HUGE and very very generous with the bacon and turkey which pleasantly surprised us :):) We have eaten there and done a to go order !! Both times our servers were lovely and accommodating 🙂 When I did the to go order the lady said “oh I’ve put ketchup in your orders already!”
I was soooo happy because I was going to ask for it and she had done it already ! Gave her a good tip and for our two Turkey BLTs:)
Only suggestion is maybe they can toast the bread a tiny bit more so it doesn’t get too soft because the sandwich is so amazingly hearty that it may get tiny bit soggy, that would be even more awesome! But we love it here ! At the end of the day it’s about the food and service :)❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you !!!

Very friendly place with good food. The biscuits and gravy: The biscuits are fluffy, the gravy is smooth and creamy; only a small amount of sausage in the gravy.
The hamburger has a good flavor, nice thick bacon and the ham is soft. They serve pepsi products; they also have Vernors Boston Cooler.

A friend and I were craving biscuits and sausage gravy. We’d heard great reviews of this place and decided to eat here. We had ample portions of delicious biscuits smothered in a tasty gravy! That, coupled with impeccable service from our waitress, makes this our new favorite spot for breakfast!

A cozy old fashioned cafe that bring back memories ❤ the hamburgers are excellent quality that you will love just like you were a little kid hey I’m 60 years old. The Bacon is thick to eat with pride I order mine with bacon yummy!! Breakfast are also good the portions are also yummy ❤ you have to stop by here Duwaigic is famous for its lakes of fishing and relaxation. Thus little cafe I’m telling you it’s worth stopping by!
Everyone’s is nice and polite. The coffee is also very good get a cup.
Hours here change so Wednesday they’re close hours are 7am to 2pm.

Butterfly shrimp was good as were the fries but the restaurant is very run down and not managed well in my opinion. Booth was very loose on the floor. Tables not cleared in a timely manner. Ordered an olive burger, waitress came back and said they were out of olives. Ordered a side of fried mushrooms, no mushrooms. Bathroom was in very poor condition. I’m disappointed in how the “owner” responds to people’s reviews. Very rude. Wouldn’t go there again.

The negative reviews are why we went… sure enough, the building is a little run down but the food is ridiculously good and my coffee never went empty. We’ll absolutely be back!

Walk in at 10 in the moring didn’t see food untill 11:10 then had to reminded them of wait we ordered.. I felt all the food for are order should of came out together.

My wife and I have gone here for years to eat breakfast. Very good food and generous portions. However service has always been sub-par. Don’t go if you are in a hurry. Only one waitress to serve dine in customers and not a good waitress. The cook can only make one ticket at a time. Sorry to say they lost our business. The last time we went, there were 5 tables that had people. We sat down and after15 minutes we got up and walked out. The waitress could have given us some water and a menu. She should have let us know we weren’t invisible. She really needs to learn how to multi-task. And a good cook can manage several tickets at once. But it’s their business and if they are happy with being sub-par they will do it without our business.
