Nice hotel. I love the fitness center and pool. The only down side to me is the that there are only 30 basic channels on tv. Nothing ro watch on my down time. Pretty cheap for a hotel of this caliber.

We stayed there for Miss Texas pageant. We had breakfast and lunch at The R. Food is pretty impressive. The Shrimp and Grits is so fancy and delicious!

Train wreck!!!!! NEVER have experienced anything so disastrous when it came to food service. Screaming and cursing from the kitchen. After receiving water, no one approached our table again for 20 minutes. 2 servers and one spoke broken English. Everyone in the dining area was fuming and the laughings at the circus. The lady servers would come to the middle of the dining room and try to find out who ordered what. Over an hour to finally get a hamburger.

This was my second stay there and I was not disappointed. Half the cost of the hotel (another area) we gad went to the night before for my wife’s birthday and this place made that feel like a motel 6. Thank you Renaissance

The food was quite good but over-priced, and the service while friendly was slow as Christmas, even though they weren’t busy. I don’t think it would make it if not for being in the hotel.
