To give them credit, they only do breakfast on weekends when the livestock auction house does not open for breakfast. The Quilt Country have shredded potatoes in the place of home fries and there is no real butter. If you hit town during the week you’ll get a much better breakfast just down the road at the live stock auction house.
I was disapointed

We have driven past the place before but never stopped. But today, we had skipped lunch and were on a long drive home so, on a whim, we pulled in. We are so glad we did!! It was an off time, 2;30,pm on a Saturday. but the service was top notch and the food was delicious. Hubby had a hot beef sandwich, I had the tenderloin with a side of delicious local, sliced tomatoes and son had a cheeseburger and fries. Everything was VERY tasty and served hot. We also got 4 cinnamon rolls to go since they looked delicious and are a fav of my son and hubs. Local and unique places like this are a great find and always so much better than fast food. Many unique and homemade dishes to pick from. Great menu with daily specials. Plenty of seating. Fun decor and clean. We will make sure and stop again or even make a special trip to go again. Those cinnamon rolls were supposed to be for breakfast tomorrow but they are gone already!

We stopped in to try here after reading reviews. I wish we hadn’t wasted our money. The onion rings and cowboy corn nuggets were good. My husband ordered a Philly, and I ordered a French Dip. The meat was very dry with no flavor. It was so bad my husband asked for them to take it back after two bites. Our son got a cheeseburger, and said it was ok. The service was horrible & rude. We never received refills on our drinks. (And it was not busy during the time we were there.) It was such a disappointment and waste of money.

We stopped for gas while traveling through. We took a chance and stopped here to eat. Unbelievable! Scratch made food cooked to perfection. The fried chicked and homemade rolls are to die for. Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives needs to visit here. Are you listening Guy? Highly recommend this restaurant.

I had been traveling through Illinois and Missouri for 6 days before i got to the area. I ate at a lor of restaurants during that time. Some of the fairly high end (or so they thought by their prices) this was by far the best. Main course and deserts. Good comfort food. I loved the corn fritters and my burger was great too. Everyone at my table commented very positively about their food as well. The blueberry peach cobbler was like none other.

Oh my goodness – the bread pudding, jalapeño corn poppers, and fresh fried mushrooms are my weakness! Weekly specials vary and keeps the menu interesting.
I’ve been going here since a little kid. Once a month grandpa would take me here for brunch. It definitely has a soft spot on my heart, and my fiancé still eat here often. It’s a great family restaurant and a local treasure.

This is definitely worth the stop, on the drive we needed some good food, a place for kids and coffee. The food was home cooked, the staff was great and there was an antique area to walk around. We had to get some homemade cinnamon rolls for the road. Hopefully we get to stop again!

What a find! Coming home from family reunion in Iowa, heading back to KC and found them purely by happenstance . People were friendly the food was really good and the little shop was a wonderful little piece of fun! Can’t go wrong here! We will mark this as a return spot!!

Our server (Barbara) was fantastic! She greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. Dinner was delivered on a timely manner. I had a side salad. Very good. Not often do you get a variety of greens, tomatoes and cucumber. My husband had Gyro plate. Home made pita. Made fresh daily!
