My first experience at The Queen of Squash was excellent. I was greeted upon entry, didn’t have to wait to be seated, and the waitress was very attentive. I was particularly impressed with the service considering that the restaraunt is currently looking for extra help. The flavors in the Southwest Bowl were great and it was my first time having jackfruit substituted for pulled pork. One item of note, this establishment does not do cash. The price was a little higher than other places but I think the fresh ingredients were worth the couple extra dollars.

Wish I lived in Peoria so I could enjoy this place more! They have a lot to offer even if friends in your party aren’t “clean” eaters. Their salads are bountiful and flavorful. I recommend trying a few things. You never know what flavor combos may surprise you.

Had a great dinner here! We all liked the food and drinks. Our favorite was probably our appetizer (shareable cheese bites). Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

We were passing through here and found this restaurant. If you are looking for gluten free, celiac friendly, dairy free, vegan, and/or nut free food that is DELICIOUS this is the place for you!! The food was amazing!! They are so careful and accommodating of allergies and perform gloves changes in between. We have lots of food allergies and they were so understanding, kind, and careful. We will definitely come back here when passing through again. Also, their venue is so beautiful and clean!! Such a plus! We had the nachos to start and they were unreal! Their house queso is dairy free and nut free and sooo yummy!! We got the child’s pizza, the California Chicago style crust pizza, and a delicious salad. Many of their dishes are plant based/vegan as well if that’s something important to you. Very grateful to have places like this. Definitely recommend checking them out!

I’m not a food critic, but definitely a foodie. We had a late lunch so the place was quite and private. We ordered the Sicilian bowl with squash and zucchini noodles and the pear infusion salad. Both were fantastic. The flavors were so well developed and the presentation was beautiful. I was surprised how large the portions were. We both took home leftovers. The leftover Sicilian bowl may have been even better warmed up later. If you like well developed flavors, unique and healthy dishes, then this place is for you. Oh, and they had great cocktails and mocktails too!

Plenty of unique, outstanding, and healthy choices. Everything is gluten-free, which is hard to believe after trying their flatbreads. Hard to beat P-drizzle. Had amazing African dishes for special of the month, had to come back just for that!

Wow!! We stopped after seeing this restaurant is celiac friendly and nut free. This food is beyond fantastic!! I had the vegan squash hummus with veggies. It was so good. The apple fennel jicama salad was to die for!! My husband got the southern pulled pork tang . He said it was delicious. This is a 10 star restaurant.

Really wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars. I ate here for the first time today and was extremely impressed with their food. I had the cheeseburger flatbread and was pleasantly surprised with how the flavor of everything tasted. It shocked me to learn this restaurant has been open for 3 years and I just heard of them today. They also have a nice private section for large gatherings. Will definitely be stopping in more frequently!!

Good food. Occasionally outstanding.
Very, very poor service – consistently. Forgetting to bring ordered items. Mistakes in taking orders. Very, very slow. Staff yelling across the restaurant like a schoolyard.
You’re gonna go outta business if you keep it up with this poor service, I can assure you.
Gone to a few business events there (very high dollar spenders) only to get extremely mediocre service and of course a big mandatory service charge gor the group. Just about to go on the black list for us, and that news will spread fast in a little city like Peoria.
Maybe, ya know, tighten things up a bit, huh? And quit with the ’90s slacker vibe.

I love this place. We just moved here from the Chicago area and the food is soooo good. Healthy and hearty and tasty! We’ve bought from them before we moved here and will continue to! One of my fave places around here! I had a turkey burger which was so juicy and delicious! I’ve had flatbreads and bowls and burgers! We love the queen of squash!
