THE QUE ABIDES PIT STOP JUST MADE MY TOP 5 GO TO BBQ PLACES. I litterally just left this place in amazement of how great this place was. THIS IS A MUST TRY.
My buddy’s and I travel the country FREQUENTLY. For YEARS We’ve sought out BBQ joints wherever we go to finds gems like this place. We are definitely BBQ fanatics, and brutally honest food critics. Many BBQ places with good ratings disappoint, The Que Abides absolutely did not.
This is 100% top tier authentic BBQ. Exactly how it’s supposed to be made.
The food was not smothered in BBQ. All sauce comes on the side. House made sauces at that! Meats smoked to perfection, amazing menu options. We will definitely be visiting again. We wish you many more years of success.

Stopped in and had the Walter, Mac and cheese, pretzels.
Pretzels- cold, paltry
– served with side of queso cheese which was the consistency of liquid pepto bismol. Very odd.
Mac-n-cheese- fair, forgettable.
The Walter- a brisket sandwich sliced thin (in the wrong direction of the meat) served with pickles and other items on a roll. The brisket was a burn your face off black pepper mess. Honestly, I’m stumped by the 4.5 star reviews. It was heinous and I couldn’t finish it. Fatty and gross.
I’ve seen brisket done amazing well, this was something to forget, forever.

Ok, here’s the RunDown…Mac n cheese was really good but not the best, street corn was absolutely awesome and I wanted a much bigger serving lol, pulled chicken was great flavor but a lil dry… Ribs were the Best Dry Ribs I’ve ever had, The Dude skewers were Sinfully Delicious, and the KC and Bourbon sauces were Outstanding! Overall, the service and atmosphere and Food make this a Must Stop and I can’t wait to go back and try the sammiches!

We tried a little bit of everything and it was a lot of AWESOME. The brisket and pastrami were incredible, pork belly and ribs were both incredibly tender!
Definitely recommend exploring the sauce lineup and get a taster of each sauce! All the sauces are delicious but the Mango Habanero is on another level!

I took my family here one Sunday after church. And I got the three meat meal, and they got various other meals. My barbecue ribs, we’re the most dried out, horrible things with grease on them. The brisket was good but was not a fan of the rest of the meal. If you like lots of vinegar on everything, this is the place for you.

Tried the smoked pastrami on rye sandwich. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. It was delicious and tender and the portion size was more than adequate. The jalapeño corn bread was a great combination of sweet and savory and the bread pudding with raspberries and blueberries was the perfect ending to a great meal. The next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely be back to try more of they’re menu.

it ain’t mass produced garbage. blues rock, mason jars of sauce, and a cute back patio! prOperly smoked ribs which were sliced prior to serving ? served unsauced? as they should be. brisket smoky and filled with flavor. sauces provided aplenty. our server Marci was very helpful with selection of meats and sides. and for the price? i’m coming back to this gem. loved it.
