I visited here for lunch with my wife during our trip to Esperance. Every dish was so delicious. Especially, the Prawn Ginger Dumplings were the best. The sauce was sweet, sour, and perfectly balanced. The Lemon Prawn Linguine was also great—the lemon made the cream sauce very refreshing. We want to come back again. Highly recommended!

Lovely café with a nice food and excellent coffee. The setting is really nice and makes it a great place to relax and catch up with friends. Service was friendly and the menu had plenty of appealing options.

The only downside was the toilets, which were quite unpleasant and clearly need some attention. A bit of care there would really lift the overall experience.

Overall, still a great spot and one I’d happily return to for the food and coffee.

Food was good, we went two nights in a row as there is not that many places in Esperance for the both for our dietary requirements of veggie and celiac. Service was pretty poor which was a shame, the two male staff never cracked a smile once on the two nights we visited. The woman who gave us table service inside on the second night was more friendly. My husband did ask for a wine recommendation and they didn’t have a clue.

We ordered the local fish and chips, which had 2 battered pieces. One was very nice the other was very dry and barely edible. Our other dish was the South West Steak, appeared on the table as ennimic and lacked flavour. Sad part the side of the steak we didn’t get to see on presentation was grilled well. The steak was ordered medium rare but was closer to rare. If they had given the second side as much love as the first it would have been better, cooked medium rare. Overall it’s a very nice setting but food is average, local fish and chip takeaways do better.

Staff weren’t clear on the menu and origins of the produce. However very friendly.

The best fish tacos in town. $26 for 2 fish tacos and perfect to lunch. Cruchy, fresh, and delectable.
The wedges are pretty good too.

A bit hit and miss here.
When we arrived the waitress was so lovely and cared for our dog even bringing water for him, however she forgot to offer us water or menus and how we should order.
We loved the fish tacos they were awesome however the Nasi Goreng was nothing more than boiled rice with some chilli ️ and a fried egg. Luckily I did order the chicken.
The balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views and is dod friendly.

This is a stunning premises and I can see romance and relaxation around, however I was disappointed when I ordered as I was told both my entree and main will be served together as they are busy! The fish was excellent as was the accompanying salad. The semolina fries were quite tasteless dispute being drowned in grated hard cheese.

We had a reservation for dinner, were not greeted at all from the host/manager who just assumed we were walk in customers, we were told we had to wait 45 minutes to order food, once we told her we actually had a reservation we were taken to our table. Food at dinner was amazing, the waiter we had was nice & attentive. Apart from the experience with the host we loved it so returned for breakfast a couple of days later. We were served by the same host. Went up to order the mushrooms on toast, was told they were sold out of that meal. I asked about mushrooms as a side for another dish and got a response “well thats why I said sold out” with a condescending attitude. Waited over 30 minutes for scrambled eggs on toast & eggs Benedict. Eggs were raw so I returned the dish to the host and asked if it could be cooked as its raw to which all i got was “ok” – no apology. I know these things happens and honestly i’m bothered by the food as much as it’s an easy fix. It was this particular staff members demeanour and attitude which made it worse.

Lovely restaurant with good food and inside what looks like a hertiage character building. Extensive menu, tasty, service perhaps needs a bit of enthusiam. Will.recommend.

Barramunda was great, fish and chips were good, as were the fish tacos.
