My neighborhood restaurant I had the chicken, macaroni and okra side salad w/ ranch. Love the ranch. my friend had fried shrimp okra and macaroni and cheese. She just got in from out of town we had a lot to catch up on so we sat there and had a bottle of wine they closed at 9 the waitress was awesome didn’t stress about making us leave or anything we were there till 9:15 finishing a bottle of wine dinner was great I love the chicken always good to eat there. See y’all next time.

Sad to have to give this spot a 2 stars.
I we came here 3very Friday for years and our dads even longer. Stopped coming as much since the change of ownership. Hadn’t been here in about a year and I see why.
The day staff were fighting with eachother right as you walked in. Took forever to be seated cause they were fighting of who was going to seat us but didnt say anything to us so it was a little awkward.
The girl who was chosen to seat us gave us a good amount of attitude though we tried to smile and lighten the mood.
The waitress who came to serve us was nice but was one of the ones arguing, so you could see she was stressed. I will say she was nice at least and hope she didnt have to split the tip cause she was good given the situation.
The menu is new, very condensed to what it used to be. The bbq sauce is still about the same so that was nice, but the rest of the good was mediocre. Bland, cold, and not worth the price in my opinion.
I really hope it was just an off day and that the coworkers dont always argue like that, but it just set up the whole experience for a low review.

Travel Food and Laughs
Absolutely the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. If I knew nothing about BBQ I would still know that this wasn’t what it should be. Worse sauce and smoking attempt possible and cheap frozen like veggies. If you actually know BBQ you will not be happy. Save your quarters and seek other options. Hard to find good BBQ in ABQ, however Rudy’s is decent but far from the best I’ve had.

This is a very nice, down to earth, place to get a good bite to eat. The staff was very nice. The cute bartender Stephanie gave me great recommendations for pairing my delicious sandwich with a cold beverage. I’ll definitely be back here again!

The food I have had has been good (ribeye on Monday and Tuesday at special price and the rack of ribs shared with a friend. Mac and cheese is my favorite side indulgence). Wait staff has been extremely nice and always attentive. I have not had a bad experience and of course the staff next door at wine shop and liquor store always very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

Terrible service. The absolute worst! We came here with an hour to spare before the kids got out of class. We came in at 4:30 pm and there were very few customers, but it still took 3o minutes to get our food. We also ordered to plates to go for the kids. At 5:30, our kids plates ( hot dogs and Mac n cheese) were not ready! When we asked about them, the waitress ignored us. The food was room temp, the service was terrible (our waitress was the tall girl with the short black hair) abs the people were rude.
Be forewarned. If you want decent food Ave lousy service that is WAY over priced, eat here. If you don’t, go elsewhere!

Waiter was attentive, friendly and helpful. Our meals were great. Steamed veggies MUCH better than anywhere else! The only suggestion I have is that my steak was very thin and therefore was med to well and I asked for rare. You cannot cook a steak that thin rare. It was tastey but too done and chewy for my taste. We always enjoy dining here!

Absolutely awful experience last night. The steaks were not good and there was more fat on them than anything. The baked potatoes weren’t cooked and the fries were cold and oily. We told the server and she was extremely rude and we asked to talk to the manager and then had to sit there for 20 minutes waiting. To top it all off, we had awful stomach aches and felt sick. Never again.

I come here occasionally with the family and live their combo platter. Great brisket, links and the ribs are awesome. Our server Laura was efficient, friendly and helpful. We’ll keep coming back!
