We first visited this restaurant in February and periodically visited. It is located in the middle of a strip. Is simply decorated with New Orleans themed. We have tried a variety of menu items and they have all been great! Poor boy (fish or oysters), tacos, shrimp étouffée, and more. The wings are the best, especially with the special! The service is good, however not enough wait staff. If you go on Tuesday or Wednesday, expect to wait a bit.

“This place never disappoints! The bartenders are not only great at what they do, but they’re genuinely funny and make the whole experience even better. You can tell they enjoy what they do. They always have reasonable specials on both drinks and food, so it’s easy to have a great night without breaking the bank. Definitely my go-to spot!” It really is a great place. Come on the weekends and get some barbacoa. It’s really great here!

We stopped in it because it looked nice from the outside. We’re from out of town. I have to admit that the chicken wings are pretty tasty. This service was good. The staff is friendly. The prices are fair and the place looks very nice and clean I’ll make sure I’ll stop by again next time I visit.

I’m super disappointed. First time here, and they did not honor their promotion! Why promote something, then not honor it. The waiter just told me it was an error. Also, the trivia night was super disorganized! They did more than 1 movie. We were not prepared for those. Also, you could barely understand the MC. Have been to better trivia nights. Overall, I’m super disappointed. If I come back, I’ll update my review.

Brianna the so called Manager was very rude! I order some wings for 50 cents and She told me I had to consume all the boneless wings or she was going to charge me $1 for each ! I did not eat but 1 wing which was very dry . I and needed water and she took forever to even come back to the bar! For being the manager she sure is rude! She than took the food from me and charged me ! I ask her to give me the food that I paid for and she refused! She had no idea I was on the road for 3 hours and 24 deliveries, n I was hungry n thirsty! To walk out hungry, mistreated, and upset! freaking horrible service! By the Brianna the leftovers was for my daughter who was waiting at home for her wings , cuz mommy was working all day and she was excited! Godbless you Brianna

Great, friendly and personal service. The food was very good. I had the fried shrimp. It was cooked to perfection. My wife had the fish and chips, she said hers was excellent my sister had the Poke plate and said it was also excellent. Lots of beer on tap also and happy hour Prices are great to. If you’re in McAllen, it’s worth a trip to come here

It sucks when I go to try out this place for the first time and pregnant because they’re specials last night were a craving of mine, and the service was shitty.
The food was good but the girl. She was plain rude. It took us about a good 10-20min to even get seen but because we know things can get hectic my friend and I were patient. We were obviously there for the deals and my friend for the drinks like many others. But this girl was like bothered that that’s what we did. She literally avoided us the last 40 min left for the specials to end and never came to tend to us she tended every table around us and never came to us. We literally had to go pay at the bar. And then in middle of it all she asked all weird if my friend and I were sharing a fountain drink? Like girl WHAT? Lol my friend had ordered 3 margaritas with a water and me coke. Why bother doing specials if your servers are going to act like their counting down what you get.

I love everything about this place was welcomed promptly and given fast and friendly service. They gave me recommendations as well as information on dishes I didn’t know. It was my first time ever having alligator and the way it was prepared was delicious I also recommend the stuffed chicken with pobalno sauce and if you have never had it yet I really recommend the dessert it all came fresh and hot when served. Most definitely coming back here again

I was hoping to try the taco special on Tuesday night and my date was interested in the beignets. We waited like 20 minutes after being there looking around for a waiter for 5 to 10 minutes. This grey bearded guy was supposed to be our waiter, but he never approached us except for after I called him over after he charged a nearby table. He never came back our way even after this tattooed lady said she’d get him to come our way.
Thanks FOR NOTHING. We’ll find somewhere else to get our taco and beignets fix.

Went for early dinner taco Tuesday. Read reviews. Tipped waiter $2 before we started no problems. Groovy mix of people. Business suits. After work to get a drink. Family kids. College kids. Mississippi oil field workers. Went again took Mom. Silverware, Plates, table service, cannot beat that.
Tacos good. The People I asked Loved their food. Will be back
