The customer service here was extremely unprofessional. I ordered candied yams and was served something that looked like a potato soufflé. I politely explained that I do not eat that texture and asked for rice and gravy instead.
The issue is how it was handled. The server scraped the food off the plate and returned the same dirty plate with rice and gravy placed in a small bowl on it. That alone was unacceptable and unsanitary.
The turkey wings appeared old, overcooked, and dry with no gravy at all. The meat was falling completely off the bone, which made it seem like it had been sitting for a long time. The food did not taste or feel fresh.
There were no customers coming in or out while I was there, and based on my experience, I understand why. Between the poor attitude, lack of basic food handling standards, and low food quality, I will not be returning.

I had smothered liver, rice and gravy, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. I absolutely loved everything. It was made to order. Nice and fresh. Oh and I also had a soul food egg 10/10. They are very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. If y’all are looking for some delicious food and friendly customer service and you don’t want to break your pockets hit them up.

The Q Spot , is definitely The Spot to go to for good food. The customer service is outstanding. Great food, great price, and homey atmosphere. All the food is made to order. So pack your patience, like I said, your food is made to order. My favorite was the Beer Battered Onion Rings. Not just anybody can make them THAT good! I would most definitely recommend. Don’t sleep on the Q Punch, very delicious.

Good food! The Ox Tail had good flavor but I obviously got the last little bit out of the pot. Mac n Cheese was good and the collards were okay. It was not the greatest service from the young lady who took my order (everyone is allowed a bad day), but the chef/gentleman from the kitchen was cool. I will return. There are plenty of items on the menu to try.

First time in Columbia SC and I informed the guy that I had not had good food since I been here. he assured me he does. I took the chance very personable and great customer service. I ordered fried chicken with greens, mac and sweet potato side and a piece of lemon cake. my only complaint is the chicken was not fried hard and the leg he gave me didn’t have the whole leg. other than that the sides were phenomenal the chicken was seasoned very well. just the skin became soggy from the steam. but the food was extremely good!
