Good spot! Friendly staff, the decor is really cute too! They were accommodating to my allergies. 🙂

I was really excited to get a taste of the yummy looking menu at this diner. However, upon entering the restaurant, we were ignored by multiple staff for around 10 minutes. When we finally were seated, it took quite a while to get our drinks (and they forgot our waters twice).

I had the best dining experience I’ve ever had at a diner! This is easily my favorite diner; I was immediately overwhelmed with positive vibes from the charming holiday decorations, the warm lighting, the smell of fresh coffee/espresso, and friendly service! The menu prices were a pleasant surprise, but the food itself was the biggest surprise, as I was blessed with the most delicious, fresh, locally-sourced bacon cheeseburger I’ve ever had. I felt obligated to try a salted caramel latte as well, as I believe the coffee was also a local brand. The latte was phenomenal – so smooth, rich with taste and carefully crafted. Where I come from in Connecticut, you can’t find a diner with food or service nearly this excellent and all of them are more expensive. The Putney Diner made me miss living in Vermont – it is truly a taste of Vermont and testament to this great state.

Local delicious food. Lots of options. There’s even a buckwheat pancake without eggs ( we never go for breakfast because I have an egg allergy). Very yummy. My brother and his family go all the time. Good people!!

The best diner in the northeast. The sandwiches alone are excellent especially the “Thanksgiving day after sandwich” (don’t quote me on the name of the sandwich but it’s on the menu and is absolutely delicious). The customer service is the best. A very intimate and diverse setting. Damn good food!

A great breakfast and great value. I liked the bottomless coffee which actually tasted good. Opens up early which I enjoyed. Great attentive staff. The food was savory and seasoned well. Not the biggest fan of the potato which was oily and fell apart too easily, but the eggs were good. Love the interior which felt really homey.
