This is a hidden gem hole in the wall, window service to go or outdoor picnic table dining. I went there specifically for the breaded pork tenderloin and it was crazy good with fresh crispy veggies and perfect seasoned fries for $11.75…I added homemade Cole slaw. Everything else I saw looked good too. Cute purple and light green color theme.

I saw a lot of raving reviews and wanted to try their purple shake and pork loin sandwich on the way to Orlando. What a disappointment. We were there on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm. They were out of vanilla ice cream and pork loin. Got a chicken sandwich and Dr. Pepper instead. Could have gotten the same quality from a fast food chain for half the cost. Definitely not worth any kind of drive to get there. If you were local and didn’t have many choices, my husband said the burger was okay. The birria tacos are not authentic at all. Very dry meat and the consommé was all grease.

We just tried this place for the very first time, and we are hooked. Best burger I’ve had in years. I got the mushroom Swiss and my boyfriend had the pork tenderloin sandwich. The pork tenderloin is huge and delicious. My mushroom Swiss was also huge. They have a special salt for their fries and it to is delicious . We will surely be going back again soon. They only have outdoor seating but in Florida it’s the best. Thanks Purple Pit Stop for wowing us.

My wife and I visited the Purple Pit Stop today. They are the only place I’ve found around here that has massively oversized tenderloin sandwiches. We went to try them out for the first time, and it was awesome. So huge. The service was very friendly and very accommodating. The tenderloins were cooked to perfection, and the flavor was on point. The fries were delicious. My only complaint at all is that I didn’t care for the house ketchup, but that is a trivial condiment and speaks nothing of the greatness of the food provided by this fantastic local pitstop in Polk City.
