My girl and I have been wanting to try this place lately because we’ve been hearing a lot of good things and The Purple Pig did not disappoint. She got some Christmas-y decaf coffee drink, which was ight, but I got a seasonal eggnog frozen frap (no whip and no espresso) and it absolutely slapped. Harder than my dad’s belt, in fact. I also had a breakfast burrito, which was also ight, but would be better if it came with hash browns inside. But for $3.99 it was pretty good. I’d gladly pay extra for a more loaded breakfast burrito.

We can’t wait to come back and try more on the menu!

I took me and my daughter here and was welcomed with smiles and great service. We got the biscuits and gravy and it was a 10/10 ! It’s so beautiful on the inside and is a very happy atmosphere. Highly recommend! They also have tumblers of many teams for a good deal at 20 dollars ! They also have other things ! You should go check it out !

Got a chance to check out a new place in Carlisle today . The Purple Pig on Dayton-Oxford Rd, just south of the Rt 123 bridge. This is a pinch off the main beaten path but close enough to pic up a coffee and quick sandwich or breakfast bite. They offer gourmet coffee, specialty teas and other drinks with a small breakfast and lunch menu. Breakfast was what I was looking for and droped in to give them a shot. They have a large lighted menu board showing all they offer. Lots of choices for drinks but thankfully a fairly simple breakfast and lunch menue, I probably looked like a deer in headlights with all the coffee and drink choices, lol. Thankfully I got to the breakfast choices. I liked the simplicity of that part for me. I had a hot chocolate and whippy cream, the wife got a chi-tea latte with the breakfast burrito. I had a sausage, egg and cheese cresaunt. All really good. I lucked out and they gave me a biskets and gravy that was extra made, Heck ya! This was pretty good also. The inside is painted a little dark with purple neons around kitchen area. They have a nice electric fireplace that is a neat feature in their sit and relaxe, have a cup area. There is also a wall thats covered with 60’s like “art deco” signs. Place is moderate in size but could accomidate small groups easily for get togethers. Newer business in Carlisle/Franklin area that deserves your attention for that java and sandwich on the run or sit and catch up a bit.

Wonderful local coffee shop! This is my 2nd time coming here and it was just as good as the first time. I got a apple fritter ice latte and a hashbrown both excellent. Everyone was really friendly.

The place is Beautiful, Great Atmosphere, Beautiful displays, and an amazing selfie cubby to the corner by the front door. The owner of The Purple Pig greeted us as soon as we came in to the register and was so sweet and helpful. They were so quick with our order as well. The two young ladies up front with her were very nice and very quick with our order as well. Thank you guys for a great first visit. I will definitely be back. Got a Mocha frappe with 2 shots of espresso and and breakfast burrito and they were both amazing. Thank you all

We just hosted our book club event at The Purple Pig Café, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The owner was incredibly kind and generous, making our entire gathering feel so welcome and exciting.

From the lively yet chill atmosphere with plenty of room to mingle, to the phenomenal drinks and the amazing menu, everything was spot on. And since it’s spooky season, they even had a bunch of exotic coffee options to choose from, which our members loved. Everyone left super satisfied and we’re all looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommend!

A day ago, I was looking for a new restaurant to try and caught sight of this hilariously named cafe. And since I wouldn’t be able to get out before it closed, I decided to have some food and drinks Doordashed for me and a friend, just to try it out.

I got the Salty Monkey Latte, with biscuits and gravy and a hashbrown, while my friend got the Smurf Juice drink with a sausage and cheese biscuit, and a hashbrown. I also got a ham and cheese croissant with chips and a Dragon Candy drink for lunch later, and she got a bagel for lunch as well. And for dessert, I got the Walking Dirt Pile, while she got a French Toast muffin.

The Latte was utterly delicious, smooth and creamy, with a distinct taste of bananas that paired VERY well with the salted caramel hints overall. The hashbrown was so-so (which my friend agreed with), and we both decided they’d probably taste a lot better if we had them in the cafe. The texture was a bit off, even though the flavors were utterly delicious! It just didn’t travel well.

Later, I had my croissant and chips, and that was so tasty. Nothing outlandish, just very good, simple food made from simple ingredients. I added a little bit of mayo on the croissant, and it was absolutely perfect, filled me right up. And with the Dragon Candy drink, it was nice and very refreshing! (Though I must say, the caffeine in the White Lotus – at least I think it was – kicks like a mule. This is definitely a pick me up energy drink, haha!) Then I indulged with the Walking dirt pile (I do NOT care if it’s for kids), and while the whipped cream had deflated by then, the pudding and ‘worms’ (gummies) were every bit as tasty and nostalgic as they had been in my youth.

My friend enjoyed her bagel and muffin both – said they were tasty as all get out – though she admitted that she did regret not getting a sandwich like I did. She had to supplement her lunch with some turkey sticks she got out of my fridge to fill her up.

For anyone worried about the cost, it is shockingly competitive with other brunch places, and it blows every single fast food place that offers breakfast straight out of the water. A very good alternative if you’re looking to give your money to places other than Starbucks and the like.

All in all, it was a truly excellent meal, and well worth a stop by if you’re in the area!
