This is a full service restaurant, a refreshing change from the fast casual places that are so popular these days. Food was OK but nothing fantastic, the purple shake was just food coloring. My steak knife burger was crispy but my son’s regular burger was not hot.
I’m happy to report that this establishment will likely be successful unlike the 3 or 4 businesses that have occupied this space over the last 8 years. They have roughly 25 servers and runners judging by the number of people running around and asking how our food was or letting us know that our food was still being made.
Unfortunately, probably just 1 line order cook working with half of a grill because 3 simple orders took so long that the restaurant was half empty by the time we got our order. There’s room for improvement since we visited the restaurant for lunch roughly 3 days after they opened for business.
Don’t come for lunch if your manager is a stickler for 25 minute lunches, but they could be an ok place to hang out if you have the time and appetite for simple food.

I took my daughter to The Purple Cow and had the sweetest server named Addy! She was friendly, attentive, and had such a positive attitude the whole time. She checked on us often and made sure everything was perfect. It’s always nice when someone truly enjoys their job and makes you feel welcome. Thank you, Addy, for making our visit so enjoyable!

5-star experience all around. The food at The Purple Cow is amazing, but the culture and service are what really stand out. Addison took great care of us. It’s rare to find a spot that balances great food with world-class service this well. Seriously, this place is the Chick-fil-A of burger joints. Highly recommended by the College HUNKS team!

Our server was trying to check us out right after our appetizer we had to explain several times we hadn’t gotten our burgers yet… Out of 4 burgers mine was raw no one ever came back after our food was brought. We had to hunt her down for the check… at that point there was no point on saying anything about the burger… Best of all they overcharged us on two items we didn’t order or receive.
