This location opens early for breakfast. The interior was warm and cozy on a cold, rainy morning. Food was very good and hot. Wait staff, Marcus, are friendly and very accommodating.

The Purple Cow is a great little pit stop in Little Rock. The dinner is just the right size with a varied menu. Two vegetarian burger options plus so much more. Don’t forget to order your very own purple vanilla shake, a local specialty. We ordered cheese burgers, a bacon cheeseburger and a garden burger. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the service was prompt and friendly.

Excellent service and great atmosphere. Would be 5 stars if it was a bit larger to accommodate the crowds since this place is clearly a local favorite!

This is the 2nd Purple Cow we have visited in Little Rock. This is the smaller of the two locations but they are not small on flavor. The burgers are freshly made and the fries are crisp and fresh as well. My wife’s sweet potato fries were delicious and just a hint of sweetness. Our shakes and malts were on point. I had the chocolate and peanuts butter with Oreos mixed in. She had a chocolate malt that was not too strong. If you want a great diner experience with great diner food then be sure to check this place out. Just call shews on busy nights as it is cozy.

I come here often and the servers are ALWAYS amazing. Super friendly and patient with you, but they give you your space. Prices aren’t bad at all. The inside is nicely decorated and I love the retro bar theme. Good location on Cantrell

The new breakfast at this Purple Cow was so good! I’m always looking for migas and it’s super hard to find and the one I had here was the best one I’ve had yet. Highly recommend!

Went there for burgers and shakes. This has to be the best place in town for burgers and shakes. The shakes are made as ordered and the chocolate tastes like real chocolate.

Some things seem to get better with time and The Purple Cow is one of them. I enjoyed the Supreme Cheeseburger with onion rings and a sweet iced tea while in town visiting family. Added bonus — Balstovitch is still there on the side of the neighboring building!

This place struggled a bit. I try to always find the positives but everything here was average. The bloody mary, the mimosa, the salad, and my GF’s food were all meh. She said she liked the onion rings.

Exactly what you would expect from a diner style burger. It was cooked perfectly and the BBQ sauce really brought it together for a great meal. The sampler platter was great too. I was in the area and wanted to try some local takes on typical appetizers. I was not disappointed. The onion rings really did stand out as well, some of the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant.
