What a great diner experience. The in-house chips are soooo good! Garden Burger is really good with sautéed mushrooms & onions. Arkansas based ice cream company Yarnell’s supplies their ice cream and makes the Purple Vanilla ice cream exclusively for the Purple Cow.
Super duper Root Beer Float! The staff was very efficient & friendly.

The Purple Cow offers a delightful, family-friendly atmosphere that leans into a nostalgic 1950s soda fountain aesthetic. While the decor doesn’t quite fully capture that authentic “vintage diner” soul, the experience remains genuinely enjoyable.
The food is solid, but the real highlights are the kind, attentive staff and the overall upbeat energy of the place. It is a great spot for a casual meal or a classic milkshake. If you are looking for good vibes and friendly people, it is well worth the visit!

Visited here last night for my first time inside and I was very impressed, I had never been inside a purple cow to eat. Tho I have had their soups to go a few times when I have been sick they are my go to in those times. The atmosphere was a modern ranch diner and I loved it considering I didn’t see what it was like before the tornado. They did a really good job. I was not expecting it to be as small as it was but they definitely had lots of seating and have no problem filling those seats. The food was really good price for portion and ingredients. We both got burgers. I had a mushroom Swiss and upgraded from fries to fried green beans, and my partner had the BBQ bacon with sweet potato fries. It’s been a couple moths since I’ve had a burger and they definitely hit the spot for my expectations for an inexpensive dine in experience. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we got everything we wanted and answered all my questions as if he was knowledgeable in the kitchen as well. I drive pretty far for a peanut butter shake and this place does not disappoint on making sure you leave there with a tight match to what you want. Overall a great experience and would definitely come back

Well, the remodel looks nice. But, Friday night service was horrible. Looked like there were 3 female servers. All of them were by the kitchen line EATING their dinner at 6:05 PM! We had to ask for silverware, ketchup, dessert menu and our check. Such a disappointment. Nobody seemed to be in charge so didn’t ask for the manager on duty. Food was as to he expected from purple cow. 1-16-26

food was so good! definitely a cute lil lunch place. everything was so clean and tidy. came upto $48 for 3 drinks 2 meals and an appy. 4.5/5 (-0.5 cus there wasnt alot of options) (also the burger would be perfect if the bun was a bit more moist, personally felt it to be a bit dry but yummy nonetheless )

I used Purple Cow for catering, and they were phenomenal! Katie, the coordinator, checked in at every step. I’ve never had to organize a party this large and was very anxious. The team that arrived to deliver the food was so professional and friendly. They were so patient when we were trying to find another table, and they knew exactly how to occupy the space we had efficiently. So grateful for them and wish I had the foresight to write down their names to thank them here. Last but absolutely not least, the food was amazing and they used the absolutely freshest of veggies!

I had a wonderful experience. My purple cow milk shake did not disappoint. Plus SPOILER!! It’s got a little love in it also. A mix of a white Irish cream liquor and that great taste of vanilla. The purple look just sets it off. Love the set up and the way back look! Now I’m going to be honest this is a little and I mean a little pricey for burgers but I hate to admit it…..ITS WORTH IT!!

Awesome burgers, very juicy. Good buns and cheese options. Purple shake was great as always. Just the same as 15 years ago when I was a kid. Bonus that they accommodate nut allergies.

The first time in a long time I’ve walked into a restaurant where every employee was laughing and smiling and genuinely happy. Service was great and it was refreshing to see a staff so contagiously cheerful

The Purple Cow is a great little pit stop in Little Rock. The dinner is just the right size with a varied menu. Two vegetarian burger options plus so much more. Don’t forget to order your very own purple vanilla shake, a local specialty. We ordered cheese burgers, a bacon cheeseburger and a garden burger. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the service was prompt and friendly.
