We hosted a birthday party at Punjab Times Indian Restaurant at Renfrew, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely fantastic — each dish was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everyone felt welcome and taken care of. The service was top-notch, and the restaurant’s large party space was perfect for our celebration. All of our guests had a wonderful time and are already talking about returning. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a memorable event. Thank you to the team for making our celebration so special!

Had lamb Biriani was 100%
Veg pakora 100%.
Then next month the same 100%
Then a week later it was the pot washers turn I think.vegpakora didn’t look right.had a buna and it was looking not to bad but no ingredients in it…I love garlic, salt and pepper, curry power, garam masala.chillies.everything in it.
Just hope the new place woodies pizza in high street has a pizza sauce 100% or il not be going there either. Il give it something for this place .they work hard, food is always good and great choice but they need to start tasting their food or using their eyes to taste or I won’t be back..

Recommend the lamb biriyani and mango lassi. Good portions and well priced. We gad some complimentary popadoms to start with too. A cute way to thank you was with some sweet bits (sugar coated cumin). Overall a good experience and would visit again.
Biriyani was well flavoured and good portions of meat. A highlight is definitely the serving in the clay pot.

Street parking opposite the restaurant.

Must have visited to The Punjab Times 6-7 times in the last 18 months . And there’s only one phrase on my tongue after every meal – bloody gorgeous! Highly recommend. In the process of ordering my take out for tonight! Butter Chicken and Biryani are the most authentic I’ve had outside London & Birmingham.

I visited Punjab Times Restaurant yesterday for a friend’s birthday celebration. The food quality was excellent and the hospitality was impressive. The staff, especially the service girl, was very professional and attentive. Serving hot naan at the table was a great touch. Highly recommended.

Whilst visiting Glasgow, I stumbled on this restaurant on google, and it’s reviews tempted me to come and try it.

I’m not a big curry eater, so asked the staff for advice on what to have. They offered a few suggestions and they didn’t disappointed.

I had the lamb chops for starters, WOW! Tender, juicy and soooo flavoursome. Good start! My friends had the chicken pakora and again very tender, fresh, tasty and the batter was lovely and light.
I had the butter chicken, my friends had the Korma and another dish with lots of coriander. We chose our rice type and a nan to mob up all the sauces.
I can honestly say, it was the best Indian meal I’ve had. Very good value for money and I had a wonderful meal here. Great service, and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Already planning to go back. Well done to all the staff

Food was disappointing at lunch

Punjabi flavour is the best in north India , Glasgow is the curry capital of Europe.
But I missed to enjoy in this restaurant, too much ketchup in the patia which you can’t justify the authenticity.
South Indian chilli garlic is missing real green chillis and garlic flavour. First time we left the lamb pieces in the dish it self. The last 2 images are we didn’t complete the curry and also the lamb.
Rice would have cooked a bit, ice cream could be better.
Sorry to say, Posh restaurant but serving cheap food.
I have no complaint about the staff who was serving. Also I have a feel they may have some experienced chef working for the dinner.

Took my sons here before going to the airport. Ordered Biriyani lam in clay pot, chicken tikka and a tikka in spinach sauce. All dishes were perfect and particularly the garlic nan which was huge. Staff and manager were really nice. Can’t wait to visit again

We had a delicious Indian meal with great meat and vegetarian dishes and starters. Menu is very good value and offers all options, including quorn which was perfect in the South Indian Garlic Chilli curry. Servers are really helpful and friendly creating a relaxed experience. Recommend.
