Our first visit was well over a year ago. We remembered the burgers being awesome, and they still are! I ordered the Craft Burger with gorgonzola, cheddar cheese, bacon, garlic mustard on a challah bun. Hubby ordered the French dip. His was delish and everything was warm, although the au just was more like a gravy. My onion rings were cold, and tho I hate to complain or send things back, hubby reported it and our waitress was super gracious and rushed off to order a fresh batch. Hot, they were delicious! My burger was lukewarm but I wasn’t about to send it back! It was still very good with plenty of cheese and meaty bacon. Service was interesting. There were long gaps between getting the menu, order taking, beer samples, drink ordering, food arriving. But once served several people asked about how we were doing. It was a very busy night with a couple large groups, the comedy club gearing up, and New Year’s frivolity. Ambiance is very loud, though we could still hear each other. It is a large room with a super high, barn- like feeling being a former film studio. Off to one side were a couple of rooms filled with oak barrels. Beautiful!

Stephanie is the very best bartender ever. Even better than Vegas lol! She knows her stuff! We go to the movies a couple times a month and we always come here first because the food and the drinks are amazing and the people are awesome. Can’t recommend enough!!!! Prices are great also.

Had the French dip and cheesesteak, they were so good I came back again for the pastrami and the Ruben. It hits the spot every time! I will be back to try a burger next time.

Great place in the Springs! We had lunch and a couple of drinks – Colorado Cheesesteak and Lamb Burger, both were fantastic – nice selection of beer and a couple ciders – also had the Bloody Mary with pickle infused vodka and I highly recommend if you’re a fan – service is great – professional, friendly, and fast.

We have enjoyed going to the Public House on the south side, so we thought we would try this one. We were very disappointed in the food. The French Dip was served with a rather snotty piece of bacon instead of crispy, and brown gravy rather than Au Jus.. The Colorado Cheese Steak Sandwich tasted like something I could buy in a box at Costco. The setting is great and the staff was terrific, but we will not be back.

Hill Climb Burger was out of this world! Best lamb burger ever. Aioli, challah bun, and caramelized onions take it to the next level. Side of onion rings also fabulous. Service & wait staff was super friendly and fast. In and out in less than 30min.

Some of the best burgers and food in town. Highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere and service. Fried Green tomatoes for appetizers was the best.

Update: we visited again tonight. There was a large group in the back and pretty much everyone else out front were ignored until after they left. Our food order was wrong, and the server we had to begin with was awful. We were ignored, but the guy who was our 2nd server was much better. All around not a good experience, and we most likely will not be back.
Mostly our food and server were a huge disappointment.

I have never felt more disrespected or disappointed at a restaurant.

Alexander’s came highly recommended by close friends, so our expectations were high. Unfortunately, those expectations fell quickly from our very first interaction.

We arrived around 11:30 and seated ourselves in the main dining area, but there was no greeting or sense of welcome. After a few minutes, our server approached and immediately asked what she could get us — with no introduction, no warmth, and a tone that felt dismissive. It immediately made us feel uncomfortable.

To make matters worse, my glass had visible lip prints and what appeared to be dried sauce or fingerprints around the rim, which was extremely off putting.

Shortly after, two gentlemen were seated and received a completely different level of service friendly, attentive, and quick. Their order was even taken before ours, despite us having been seated first.

About 10 minutes in, our server walked up and abruptly asked if we needed more time, in a tone that felt impatient rather than helpful. When she took our order, she seemed disengaged and uninterested.

After waiting approximately 40 minutes, our order was incorrect. We ordered two Philly sandwiches with a side of queso. Instead, we were brought chips and queso as an appetizer. When we explained we hadn’t ordered chips, we were told they had “given us extra,” which didn’t make sense and felt dismissive.

Eventually, we were brought only one Philly.

When we raised our concerns, there was no apology, accountability, or effort to make it right. At that point, we politely asked to leave.

This was, unfortunately, one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had.

Went here as a group and the general consensus was that everything was good, but not great. We ordered pub chips, garlic knots, and chips and queso for appetizers. (The garlic knots were the best thing we ate all evening.) For food we had the The Big Dill, the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, the Pot Roast, The French Dip and one of the burgers. The chicken on The Big Dill and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap were decent, but the chicken was kind of tough. The French Dip sandwich was really good, but the dip was not like an au jus broth, it was a lot thicker like a gravy and kind of so-so.

Overall, I would still eat here, but it might not be the first place on my list. If you are looking for a casual place to eat attached to both a brewery and distillery then this would be a great pick.

TL;DR: Incredibly slow service across the board—slow food, slow drinks, slow water refills, and slow check. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for the wait.

We were seated at 6:08 PM and waited 45 minutes just to receive our appetizer (fried green tomatoes). Our main course—two burgers—arrived only 3 minutes after the appetizer, which felt poorly timed. Even more concerning, we watched an older couple who had been seated well before us still waiting for their single burger while we were already eating. Not a great experience overall.

I’ve seen better from a food truck.
