A decent bar (at first appearance) I went to for the first time last Friday after work with coworkers, May 30th. My bartender Shannon was cool and accommodating to my request for a specific drink. At the end of the night, I paid my tab ($41.67) and left a $5 tip. A few days later, once the expense cleared on my card, I was surprised to see the total adjusted to $61.67. I definitely won’t be coming again unless my friends invite me, and even then, I’d use a different bartender. It’s really a shame since Shannon seemed cool, and there’s no excuse for stealing from a customer.

Cute place. No food so i cant comment on food. The bar tender had music playing out of an ice bucket and it was loud and didnt sound good just noise that would stop when she got or had to send a text… which made it more weird… lady at the bar was vaping. Small outdoor seating area but to parking lot but still nicely done

Looking for a place for drinks and conversation? If so, then a bar to consider is the Public House, located in Katy’s Villagio Town Center. It’s a traditional pub with drinks, televisions, games, and more.
What you get with the Public House is a comfortable place for drinks and a noise level low enough that you can hear the person speaking next to you with no problem. There is a jukebox playing tunes, but they keep the volume low enough that you can talk to people with ease.
They have a respectable beer selection at the Public House, and the prices are good- lower than those of most other establishments. If you would rather go for a cocktail, not a problem. The liquor selection is extensive, and they can mix up any drink you like.
Besides the drinks, you will find a pool table, games, and an outdoor space for seating when the weather is right. Public House did serve food at one point, but the last time I visited, I learned that the food service had been suspended while they worked out some kinks. In the meantime, there is a vending machine in the back if you need a snack while you imbibe.
Food or not, the Public House is a good place to visit for drinks and conversation. The service has always been friendly, too, and since it’s located in Villagio Town Center, there is abundant parking and more than enough places you can walk to for food, if the need arises. There is no outstanding feature at Public House, but it has all the essentials covered, which is reason enough to pay a visit.

Great place to hang out in Cinco Ranch, Katy. Awesome bartenders, great atmosphere, and fun times. The dart boards are spectacular, there is golf too and plenty of TV’s to watch your favorite sports. There is a food menu too and the burgers are the best!

Great people that frequent there! Terrific bartenders! Nice ambiance, laughter, fun times and plenty TV if seeking to watch a game, or sports. Food is pretty good too!! Plenty spots around the bar or table seating. The night we went, there was a live band! Check it out if you haven’t!!

This is probably the most chill bar in Katy, Nyomi is always a delight when we visit. All the football and baseball games are always on, the people and atmosphere is friendly which it should be for a local pub, drinks and snacks are reasonable, definitely a great Sunday funday joint in Katy.

It maybe the best neighborhood bar in Katy.
Non-smoking. Games. A patio. Easy parking. Reasonably priced drinks. Friendly staff. Great drink selection.
If you’re looking for a place in Katy/Cinco Ranch to grab a drink – it’s worth starting here. I haven’t eaten here, so I can’t speak to that. One of their Golden Tee machines is poorly maintained… but that’s about the worst thing I can say about this place. Their patio is covered. The regulars are plentiful and generally focused on their group.
I just like this place a lot.

This place has a very specific vibe/atmosphere… we have tried this bar a few times and were met with the exact same experience – if you are not one of the regulars, prepare to be gawked at for your whole visit and served only after the regulars are settled. Our drinks were fine, the bar is never packed, and the outdoor area was nice enough, albeit a lot of smoke and patrons holding on to/changing the music and tvs at their whim. The TVs themselves were nice and the space looked like it had potential to be a great local pub. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be back – felt pretty unwelcoming to anyone outside of the few in-crowd, and no one wants that when grabbing a chill beer.
