Public House is an absolute gem. The food is outstanding; from the perfectly crispy, flavorful falafel served over creamy hummus with fresh greens and a deliciously balanced sauce, to the unreal pastrami sandwich with melted cheese on perfectly toasted bread. Every bite feels thoughtfully made and full of flavor.
But what truly makes Public House special is the atmosphere and the people. The vibe is warm, welcoming, and relaxed; the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable whether you’re out with friends or just grabbing a bite and a drink. The staff is genuinely friendly, attentive, and makes you feel taken care of without ever being overbearing. You can tell they enjoy what they do, and it makes the entire experience even better.
Great food, great drinks, incredible energy, and amazing people. Public House is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend ✨

We stopped here on a whim looking for a meeting spot in the Ripon area. The service was what blew me away – from the moment we walked in the bartender was attentive! The entire experience included great service, exceptional food, and affordable prices. Although small, they did all they could to accommodate us! Will definitely be back!

Went here during a wild cold front of -20 degrees on one day, but every day was below zero. Small college town and it was like everyone new each other, but treated me like I was a local with great service and food. The Margareta U had lived up to its name. Great place

I recommend this place anytime I’m asked where a good place to eat is locally, it’s a go-to for sure. You can spend more money on mediocre food other places in town, but this place is way better in every way We love the freshness and innovation used to create their specials and the reggae brunch is fantastic too. Wonderful addition to our downtown.

Cool place with a unique menu. Food was good and so was the service. The owner came and asked how everything was and he was so nice. The menu changes during the seasons and they also have daily specials. We will be back to try more!

We went relatively early because of a prior commitment. The cheesy sloppy Joe was the perfect comfort food. Fries were tasty. If I wasn’t driving, I would definitely tried one of their mant drinks. I want to take my husband there.

This place is AMAZING! I love love love their cheese curds and these ones hit the spot. I flew in from New York City to spend the weekend in Green Lake and popped over to this pub for dinner. I also had their Harvest salad with FRESH salad dressing (that’s hard to find in Wisconsin- sorry not sorry lol) super delicious! The owners were so friendly and greeted me with welcome arms. One of them was even from Long Island, NY so that makes me trust this spot even more. I even came back the next morning for their Reggae Brunch. The vibes popped off, so much fun. My friends and I had everything from Bloody Mary’s to Aperol Spritz with a fat yummy plate of French toast. GO HERE I WILL BE FLYING BACK IN FOR THIS PLACE!!
