Good: I got the chislic, and it was pretty good! The service was excellent and everyone was friendly!
Bad: The fries were super salty and I am a guy who likes salt. Only fancy place in Madison, SD and the price reflects this but the food does not.
All in all, I am satisfied with the visit and would recommend for business get togethers and a couple drinks but other options are just as good but less classy!

Had the New York Strip (very spendy at $22). Very disappointed in the food. Next to no potatoes, the few potatoes there were great! Steak was a very poor cut as well as having poor flavor. Service was awesome, waitress was very nice and food was out quick. Beer was cold and priced accordingly.

A newer place for me visiting Madison again. The food and drinks seemed to be great tasting, but what are those tap beer prices? The cocktails like a long island were very reasonably priced (surprisingly so) after seeing a tap beer costing between $5-$10 (with most around $7ish). I like that they have more crafty type beer in a small college town like this, but I’d like it more with a dollar or two knocked off some of their drinks.
Staff was really friendly however, but seemed short handed. Was not quick service, but very friendly at least.

I really wanted to like this place. Cool space, great beer list, extensive menu! But some things on the menu were unavailable (veggie burgers, potato salad) and the table service was incredibly slow, despite the fact that the place wasn’t full. We ordered beers, which were poured by the bartender within 2 minutes, but sat for 15 minutes before being delivered.

Love the Pub House. The service, food, and atmosphere are great. The only unfortunate thing is that the whole experience is very hit or miss. Sometimes I can go in, get awesome food and service. Other times I go in and they don’t have a certain ingredients or certain dishes at all. Frustrating at times, but can be really good as well.

Great addition to Madison. Something that has been needed for years. I just stopped in quick on my way back to Sioux Falls but they had a good variety of drinks and the atmosphere was incredible. I have no doubt that if I had some food I would give this a 5 star rating.

I’ve been here a handful of times, and every time has been slow or I’ve had something wrong with my food. The booths are all uncomfortable and too narrow, and the chairs and tables are wobbly. I ordered Habanero Fish Tacos on special, and they came without the Habanero Sour Cream, or the slaw (I was never notified about this). When I asked the waitress for the rest of my meal she seemed upset, went back to the kitchen, and came back and said it would be a hassle to make and if I was really sure I wanted it. I said yes, and they refused to give me it still. I spoke to a manager, and she wouldn’t give me another option. I ended up pressured into paying full price for a meal I didn’t even like. I still came back twice, and disliked both experiences. Avoid this place.

Pretty cool place! Nice beer selection and knowledgeable staff. Didn’t have the food but it smelled good! And the bartender Dylan is oh so dreamy!

I enjoy the beer selections the most. The food needs a lot of work, though. I got a burger with too much sticky sauce on it.. it wasn’t pleasant. They need to add some veggie options on the menu.

My family travels to Madison to visit family on a regular basis . We have been looking for good food for YEARS ! The ingredients are fresh, the atmosphere is fun and our waitress (Stephanie) was awesome ! Thank you from some “Minneapolis Fans”.
