I hadn’t been there for about 25yrs. It is the same high quality old school great food. I had the standard cut of Prime Rib. I asked for medium rare. It was perfect. The side of creamy horseradish was also perfect. The twice baked potato and salad bar were also awesome. I will be back. Service very good. Prices are fair for the high quality and quantity. I’ll have a second meal, and I can consume a good bit. Two thumbs up.

I’ve been coming to this place for years on special occasions and it’s never failed to do the best it could, The staff accommodates customers of all ages respectfully and accordingly. The food is just overwhelmingly good, Nothing seems to be over salty or overcooked. The place gives you a a Old Medieval look on the inside, but however the place is a little dark as you can tell from the photos/videos. The place was easy for my grandma to get into as well, as she is not so mobile much anymore, so that was a huge +. The food you get for the prices is a lot too, but the prices are a bit high if you’re going, but not too much, inflation hurts. It didn’t take too long to get seated but call ins for eating would be recommended highly, this place gets very busy VERY busy. But the food won’t disappoint and I’m sure you will love it like I have. Cheers

Lived in the area my whole life and this was our first visit. The food and service was great. It has a medieval setting which is very nice. Here is the reason for 4 Stars. There are only two soups available. Snapper (turtle) and French Onion. Not sure why more common soups aren’t available. All entrees come with a baked potato, salad bar and bread. I would prefer the choice of another vegetable in place of the salad bar. I got the Seafood Combo. It was very good. But the lobster tail was the size of a large shrimp. Expected a bit more than that. To be fair I’ve gotten the same type of combo at other local area restaurants which were just as good and a lot less expensive. Overall, it was a nice experience. But with the lack of choices and higher prices we probably won’t return any time soon.

Retro 60’s mashed up with medieval times! If you love a good steak and nostalgia, run don’t walk. Sadly they don’t have the green after dinner mints anymore though.

The Pub just celebrated their 70th Anniversary and I see why! This restaurant has the most delicious seafood I have ever tasted. My meal the other night was so fulfilling and so satisfying that I will be going back and soon!! Not to mention the drinks and open salad bar is so good. It was worth the 45 minute drive. I definitely recommend!!

Thursday Night had Dinner there after softball with two friends. The Salad Bar is still awesome and nobody is close to The Pub. I ordered broiled scallops/shrimp. VERY Good, but portion could have been larger. Baked potato yummy. Friends got Steak and Chicken Parmigiana and was delicious and portions were awesome. Server Kyri was great; Will Return.

If you’ve not been here then wake the hell up and get over here. Right now I drove all the way from Center City Philadelphia to this place on a Thursday night and was blown away by the seafood platter. I mean seriously, you can’t beat this the salad bar. You can’t beat the lobster tail. You can’t beat the beans, it’s it’s out of control. Greatest around here. Get over here right now. No hickey panky

Hubby hadn’t been here in 50 years. Zero has changed. Service was enthusiastic, salad bar good. Food was OK but huge servings.

We visited last night, and were horribly disappointed in our food. I do not understand all the excellent reviews. We were not expecting much, this establishment is an overpriced neighborhood relic with mediocre food. However, last night the waitress admitted they were short staffed, and our steak at first came out overdone when asked for medium rare, then it came out raw! Please view the picture of the rib eye with knife. The outermost layer is seared, and the entire steak is raw! I guess the chef was annoyed we complained? The salad bar is good with ceasar salad option, nice cheeses, breads, and many selections. We should have made our meal out of the salad bar, it was the only good part of the evening, besides the good company of our party. The fresh bread on table was very good, would have been better warm. Drinks are very expensive here. Our friends shared a Tomahawk steak for $120 it was supposed to be 32 oz, arrived to table very small; however meat was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. My Porterhouse tasted like roast beef, filet portion was miniscule…and why do they serve it swimming in au jus? It was a sloppy gross mess! Twice baked potato was not good, arrived cold to table and tasted bitter. Our waitress was wonderful and was very upset we were unhappy with our food, she even brought out dessert for us. The manager was promised to come talk to us, but never showed up. I read in several reviews others had the same experience with the manager. My husband liked his chocolate cake. Creme Brule was curdled. Hopefully we will never come back and remember how overpriced and bad the food is at The Pub.
