Stopped by for a quick bite or late lunch. Parking can be a hassle since if right inside or next to the casino so abit of walk, which is fine to build up an appetizer. The place is well decor with big bar and big dinning area or areas, they do have outdoor patio and private dinning areas too. Service is okey since there’s not much of it. We only saw one host and 1 or w servers. Menu is big with varies of choices. Our server was nice and friendly but once he’s went away, it will be a long long long time to the next visit. The foods are just okey, nothing special…some are just off on the seasoning. Glad that my lychee martini was great. Prices are on the high end…overall it was okey with a great cocktail.

Tried the BBQ ribs, spicy ají amarillo shrimp, and pork belly bao buns. The ribs and shrimp were out of this planet, bold flavors and perfectly done. The bao buns were tasty but a bit hard on the bite. Overall, a very solid experience with a couple of standout dishes. All of them in happy hour for less than 25 usd.

Driving 2 hours, We came to San Jose specifically for your night club province. We decided to go early so we could have dinner. The menu was cool they had choices. We chose the curry and the pad tai dish. When I tell you this was the biggest mistake I’m not playing. First off no one’s plates were cleared, meaning everyone who dined that night did not finish there food people were disgusted and talking bad about the food all around our table. When we got there it took rough 20 min to get asked if we would like to order. I ordered espresso martini that was sour and tasted spoiled it was so hard to drink it, everytime id try to take a sip i gagged., then our food finally comes another 20 min later and when we saw the food we were already like “what is this?” The look of the food was horrible. The padtai looked like someone vomited all over it. And that is no exaggeration, I hadn’t eaten all day looking forward to this place so I decided to go ahead and at least try it. It was horrible it didn’t just look like vomit it actually smelled like vomit. And the taste was herendous. I don’t know what that was but it Def. Was not padtai. The curry? Wth it was Indian curry on hard crunchy potatoes not cooked, carrots and about 3 small bites of chicken with a curry sauce that was gross. So needless to say we were still hungry but moved on from that to the night seen on empty stomachs. Good job cooks and servers yall realy won us over so far. (Not) , we realy were hoping our experience was just a flook and the club part would be the shining part of our night. So we gave it another chance even ordered a bottle of don 70 just so we could have a table. The lady was so nice gave us a great spot way in the back lol away from music our view was the back of the bar where servers came and went getting drinks for everyone. Oh and let me tell you the sectional seating WOW so nice but not safe hello it was broken it kept falling back the whole night so we stood. The whole point of vip is to have the best experience while also comfortable and have your space however people were so close pushing on the sectional moving it all around. Lets get to the music. Great music loved it the biggest highlight of the night also the outside patio was super nice as well. I’ve never had an experience where it was one fail after the other. You realy should be ashamed of that restaurant and change the food/workers and servers and staff realy need some higher training. I’m sorry to come off so blunt but this was by far the nastiest , lowest quality I’ve had.

This spot is perfect for a relaxed hangout—whether you want to grab a drink, enjoy a snack, or just kick back by the fire. The cozy atmosphere makes it easy to linger, chat with friends, or simply soak in the vibe. One of the coolest features is the seamless connection to the Bay 101 card room through an interior entrance. It adds an extra layer of excitement for anyone looking to try their luck or enjoy some friendly competition without leaving the space.
Between the inviting lounge areas, the fire pit, and the convenience of the connected card room, it’s a place that offers a little something for everyone. Whether you’re there for a casual drink, a quick bite, or some entertainment, it’s a spot that’s easy to enjoy and keeps you coming back.

The best part of this restaurant is that it opens until 1AM! It’s really not easy to find a fine restaurant at midnight. The food is good although not top. But some of its dishes are superior. Its half-dozen half-shelled fresh oyster is a recommended starter. We like the sauces to serve with the fresh oyster. Its Pho noodle soup is also recommended. Its sushi roll is great. Its certified Angus beef is juicy and tasty but I hope the server would have asked me how it should be cooked before they automatically cooked medium, hahaha

The chicken pad Thai and the fried cauliflower were good. The pad Thai didn’t look amazing but tasted quite good and was enough to share between two people.
We had the lava cake for dessert and while it was delicious there was nothing about it that could’ve been called a “lava cake”, it’s more of a bundt cake with chocolate in the middle. Delicious, but not as advertised. I also didn’t really care for the plastic spoons.

The Province is not some place you visit for food. It is a restaurant attached to the Bay 101 casino and folks that might be hungry while playing might visit to quickly satiate their hunger. Had I know this was attached to a casino, I wouldn’t have reserved and visited.
The atmosphere isn’t bad but again, you have this loud, dark, a bit gloomy feel. High ceilings, faux Chinese decor, semi-club, semi-bar, atmosphere. Again, considering this serves a casino, exactly what you’d imagine. This place just isn’t set up for enjoying food or a conversation.
Food is just terrible, especially for the price point. Again, you don’t go to the Province for food. Halibut was bland to the bone. Tacos were served with condiments most likely bought from Costco. I don’t blame them. Just that I had different expectations. It is literally cafeteria food.
The fact that I have been to Province for a meal already is a great story to tell. Of course, won’t be returning for any type of food.

This place is very underrated. I had a lunch reservation for a group of 7 and they didnt have a table set up for us. The service was a bit slow and the place was pretty empty so that was surprising. On the plus side, the food is great. The portions are huge and everything we ordered was delicious.

Went there to celebrate a colleagues birthday since it was open late. Great location u r ambience but it was empty. No issue maybe it was a Sunday night not many are out. We had to self serve seating and then ordered some calamari and wonton soup and others ordered Caesar salad w/ salmon and chicken curry.
Soup was smelly and not flavorful. Calamari was chewy and mostly bread crumb.
We weren’t all so hungry thankfully but food was not good. Ambience didn’t matter after cos the vibe wasn’t there. 1 person serving she was nice but don’t know couldn’t connect. Maybe will try another time but worried that food won’t be great regardless of a more upbeat ambience. Try at ur own risk.

For better or worse your experience may vary…visited on a Saturday night around 8pm. There were 2 other tables there. Completely empty. Our server said the night before was crazy and there was a dj and live music with a packed house. Not sure why Saturday night was different but my wife and I essentially had the place to ourselves. Our server Tiffany B was awesome. Very friendly and down to Earth. Food came out fast and hot which was expected since no one was there. Food was good, we had no complaints. If in the are again and in the mood for asian without a lot of fuss, I’d go back. It’s inside the casino but the noise from the casino wasn’t noticed. Casino appeared to be non smoking and card games only. Also the security guy in the parking was super friendly. Just a nice guy.
