We found this place from the post on social media about the igloos, and it was an awesome experience. Food was very very good, the lights and igloos were beautiful to look at, and they even had a petting zoo.
The maple bacon pretzel was the standout – salty and sweet, delicious, and filling.
The cabbage soup was warm and cozy, although it could use a little bit more spices.
The maple soft serve ice cream was sooo good, flavorful, and unique. Highly recommend this, and I’m not even a huge fan of soft serve ice creams.
Everything was great and we would go back!

What a FUN experience!! Such a lovely night under the lights, eating in an igloo! You order food inside, in the building (ice cream is ordered outside at the counter). They will give you a pager to alert you when your good is ready. Grab a table or igloo (igloo’s are first come seating). Most igloo’s have a small heater, which actually kept it warm in there. Such a fun night out with the family, even my boys enjoyed this place!

Absolutely go to the pretzel hut! They are such a nice family friendly place. We have visited in the spring and winter and each has been great. They have lots of outdoor space and heaters to warm up. In the winter they had igloos with heaters so it was very cozy. They have a petting zoo and a playground. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. The only downside is the parking can be tough but each time we found a spot even if we had to circle a little bit.

My hubby and I enjoyed a date night here! We sat in an igloo for a few minutes to see what the fuss was all about. They are first come, first serve. I almost feel like they need a better system, but I can also understand why they have them set up this way. We visited the animals, warmed our hands by the fire, and enjoyed a tiny bit of people watching. After we were pretty cold, we stood in line to order food. We probably were in line for 20 minutes and out food took 15ish minutes to prepare. We ate inside the building where we ordered. We didn’t wait for a table. Don’t try to run through the Pretzel Hut experience if you’re short on time. It really deserves to be a destination, not just part of the journey. Every employee we met was super friendly and hard working! We shared a smash burger and the stuffed cabbage soup! Both were delicious and we’ll be back, even if it’s just for the food!

This is a great place for ice cream, snacks, petting zoo and just all over outdoor relaxation and or adventure. Even when it’s cold you can still enjoy the outdoors as they have little igloos over top of the picnic table areas. They built a bigger bunny Hut for you to be able to go inside and pet the bunnies. During Christmas season they have decorated wonderfully and included two trains to circle around the area.

This was our first time at The Pretzel Hut. I got their burger salad and I got the half size and it was huge. I had to request more dressing but other than that it was perfect and they do not skimp on the toppings. I didn’t get a picture of my husband Smashburger, but he is still talking about it a week later. We decided to get ice cream after we went up to see the animals. The donkey was my favorite. It is a steep incline, so make sure that you are able to walk comfortably up a hill. The ice cream was good however the flavors were different from what was listed online so I was disappointed that I couldn’t get pumpkin. There were tons of people there, but I feel like everyone was spread out nicely through the whole establishment. The only thing is the area where you order is near where you get napkins and things like that so it can get really crowded inside. We also tried one of their soft pretzels and it was delicious. I would definitely go back again.

This is a cute place to enjoy the day. Didn’t realize the menu was different on the outside as it was on the inside.
I enjoyed my pretzel and beer cheese.
There was a group of us there out for the day driving. The grandkids enjoyed the animals and playground for sure.
I will be back again next year when it reopens for the season

Saw this online and when we went it did not disappoint. Got ice cream first then went to sit at picnic tables to eat. Once kids done they loved playing on swing set. Then ran up hill to petting the goats and seeing the other animals. Donkey, mini horse, and bunch of rabbits. Then back to playing while we got some quesadillas from the cafe that were made pretty fast even though they were busy. The cafe was so cute decorated. Bathrooms clean (port a potties outside) They were so delicious and gave a good amount of food. Then we got some pretzels and my husband got a root beer float. So yummy! A must try! If you’re in the area definitely a must with kids and can spend a couple of hours there.

Add this to your bucket list of things to do near Lancaster. Their food was great, they have a decently sized menu. I’m dreaming about those pulled pork fries. Their apple cider float is a perfect treat for the fall season. There is an outdoor area to sit as well as indoor.
