The wings! The cheese curds! The sidewinder fries! The onion rings! And the patty melt! Those are my favorite options to get. Me and the family come here weekly. The staff is always super nice and we absolutely love the ambiance of the place. Very different from other places in town. Would give more stars if I could. Check the place out!

Had the appetizer sampler (onion rings were delicious)and the smash burgers. Definitely didnt leave hungry and had plenty of leftovers.

Love the atmosphere. The owner didn’t stop trying to get the Chiefs on the TV until we were able to watch the game as we had lunch. Food was great. Croutons for salad are soft. Different but daughters loved it. Burger is amazing.

Me and the family decided to try this place out while visiting town. The atmosphere was great and we loved the decor and theme of this restaurant. We each ordered something different and shared it. Everything we had was amazing! We highly recommend this place and it is very kid friendly! They accommodated my little one and even brought over some games for her to play while we waited for the food. The staff was great and look forward to coming back.

We came to eat here because we drove by and saw the signs on and did not know this was a new place in town. The onion rings were the best I have ever had! The food portions are big so be ready for that you will have food to take home and eat later. The staff was really nice and helpful. It got busy in there when we were there and the server did great working our table and everyone else. The food is really good. Like really good! We have good places in town and this place will be at the top of our list to go back to. We hope more people stop by and give them a shot because it is really nice to see a new place in town with so many good food options! The prices are also very good! It was a fair price for all the food and drinks we got. We will bring our friends and family! But give them a try! Thank you

We went and celebrated their Juneteenth events and it was wonderful! Great food and great people. Their greens were AMAZING! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a laid back homestyle atmosphere with food that feels like grandma’s kitchen!

Service took a long time and it looked like there was one person in the kitchen it was my group of 4 and another in the restaurant and it took almost an hour to get both our appetizers and entree, it also took a long time to get refills and my food came out cold and the kitchen was out of half the stuff. I also found a hair in my food. And the seasoning on everything tasted like a Ramon noodle packet, more specifically the chicken packet. Edit: I work in a made from scratch kitchen that usually has two people on the job at a time and at max there was 10 people in there I understand it’s hard to get food out on time but I would never send a dish out cold. Thank you for taking time out of you’re day to respond to my review with further proof of why I will not be returning to you’re establishment.

I had lunch with a group of 6 ladies and all of us enjoyed our meal. I got a salad and boy was I excited when it arrived at the table. The homemade croutons are big, they give you a generous amount and they were still warm from the oven, crunchy and crispy on the outside and softer in the middle. By far the best croutons I have ever eaten! I also ordered a 1/2 plate of the chicken tenders, but the tender was so big it looked more like a chicken breast! Juicy and delicious! The homemade fries (twisted or something similar in the name) were delicious and like a mix of steak fries and curly fries, with the option to have them plain or bbq flavored, both are good (hint of heat with the bbq). If you’re in Kirksville and haven’t been to The Press Room, I definitely recommend it for lunch!
